Now when Sanballat , Tobiah , and Geshem the Arabian and the rest of our enemies heard that I had rebuilt the wall and that there were no longer any sections left broken open , although I had not yet set up the doors in the gates ,
កាលលោក សាន‌បាឡាត លោកថូប៊ីយ៉ា និង លោកកេសែម ជា សាសន៍ អារ៉ាប់ ព្រម ទាំង ខ្មាំង សត្រូវ របស់ យើង បានឮ ថា ខ្ញុំ បានសង់ កំផែង ឡើង ហើយគ្មាន កន្លែង បាក់ បែក ណា នៅ សល់ ទៀត ទោះ ជាពេល នោះ ខ្ញុំ មិន ទាន់ បាន ដាក់ សន្លឹក ទ្វារ តាម ទ្វារ នៅ ឡើយ ក៏ ដោយ។

Sanballat and Geshem sent to me saying , " Come , let us meet together somewhere in the plain of Ono . " But they intended to do harm to me .
លោកសាន‌បាឡាត និងលោក កេសែម ចាត់ គេ មក ជួប ខ្ញុំ និយាយ ថា៖ « សូម មក យើង នឹងជួបគ្នា នៅ ភូមិ ណា មួយ ក្នុង ជ្រលង ភ្នំ អូណូរ » ។ ប៉ុន្ដែ ពួកគេ មាន បំណង នឹង ធ្វើ បាប ខ្ញុំ។

I sent⟡ messengers to them , saying , " I am doing a great work , and I can not come down . Why should the work stop while I leave it and come down to you ? "
ខ្ញុំ ក៏ បានចាត់ មនុស្ស ឲ្យ ទៅ ប្រាប់ គេ វិញ ថា៖ « ខ្ញុំ កំពុង ធ្វើ កិច្ច ការ មួយ យ៉ាង ធំ ហើយខ្ញុំ មិន អាច ចុះ ទៅ បាន ទេ។ ហេតុ អ្វី បាន ជា ខ្ញុំ ត្រូវ ឈប់ ដោយ ទុក ការ ងារ នេះ ចោល ហើយ ចុះ ទៅ ជួបលោក ដូច្នេះ ? »

They sent me the same message four times , and I answered them the same way each time .

Sanballat sent his servant to me in the same way the fifth time , with an open letter in his hand .
លោកសាន‌បាឡាត ចាត់ អ្នក បម្រើ ម្នាក់ ឲ្យ មក ជួប ខ្ញុំ តាម បែប ដដែល ជា លើក ទី ប្រាំ មាន ទាំង កាន់ សំបុត្រដែល បើក ចំហ នៅ ដៃ ផង។

In it was written , " It is reported among the nations , and Geshem also says it , that you and the Jews are planning to rebel , for that is why you are rebuilding the wall . From what these reports say , you are about to become⟡ their king .
ក្នុង សំបុត្រ នោះបានសរសេរ ថា៖ « មាន ឮ ដំណឹង នៅ គ្រប់ ទាំង សាសន៍ ហើយ លោក កេសែម ជា សាក្សី ថា លោក និង ពួក យូដា មាន បំណង នឹង បះ‌បោរ ហេតុ នេះ ហើយ បាន ជា លោក សង់ កំផែង នេះ ឡើង។ តាម ពាក្យ ដែល គេ និយាយ នេះ លោក ចង់ ឡើង ធ្វើ ជា ស្តេច របស់ គេ។

You have also appointed prophets to make this proclamation about you in Jerusalem , saying , ' There is a king in Judah ! ' You can be sure the king will hear these reports . Therefore come , let us speak with one another . "
លោក ក៏ បាន តែង តាំង ពួក ហោរា ឲ្យ ប្រកាស អំ ពីរូប លោក នៅ ក្រុង យេរូ‌សាឡិម ថា មាន ស្តេច មួយ អង្គ នៅ ស្រុក យូដា ហើយ ដំណឹង នេះ នឹង ឮ ដល់ ស្តេច មិន ខាន។ ដូច្នេះ សូម មក យើង នឹងនិយាយជាមួយ គ្នា » ។

Then I sent⟡ word to him saying , " No such things have occurred as you say , for within your heart you invented them . "
ខ្ញុំ តប ទៅ គាត់ វិញ ថា៖ « គ្មាន ការ បែប នេះ កើត ឡើង ដូច ជា លោក រៀប រាប់ ទេ គឺ លោក បាន ប្រឌិត រឿងទាំង នេះ ដោយ គំនិត ខ្លួន ឯង ប៉ុណ្ណោះ » ។

For they all wanted to make us afraid , thinking , " They will drop their hands from doing the work , and it will not be done . " But now , God , please strengthen my hands .
ដ្បិត ពួកគេ មានបំណង នឹង គំរាមពួក យើង ដោយ គិត ថា « ពួក គេ នឹង ថយ កម្លាំង ដៃ ហើយ លែង ធ្វើ ការ នោះ ត ទៅ ទៀត » ។ ប៉ុន្ដែ ឥឡូវ នេះ ឱ ព្រះ‌អម្ចាស់អើយ សូម ចម្រើន កម្លាំង ដៃ ទូល‌បង្គំ ផង។

I went to the house of Shemaiah son of Delaiah son of Mehetabel , who was confined in his home . He said , " Let us meet together in the house of God , inside the temple , and let us close the doors of the temple , for they are coming to kill you . At night they are coming to kill you . "
គ្រា នោះ កាល ខ្ញុំ ចូល ទៅ ផ្ទះ របស់លោក សេម៉ា‌យ៉ា ជា កូនលោក ដេឡា‌យ៉ា ដែល ជា កូនលោក មហេ‌ថាបែល គាត់មិន អាច ចេញ ពី ផ្ទះ បាន ទេ គាត់ បានមានប្រសាសន៍ ថា៖ « សូម យើង ទៅ ជួប គ្នា ក្នុង ព្រះ‌ដំណាក់ របស់ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ គឺនៅ ក្នុងព្រះវិហា ហើយ បិទ ទ្វារឲ្យ ជិត ទៅ ដ្បិត គេ នឹង មក សម្លាប់ លោក ។ ពួក គេ នឹង មក សម្លាប់ លោក នៅ ពេល យប់ » ។

I replied , " Would a man like me run away ? Would a man like me go into the temple just so he could save his own life ? I will not go in ! "
ខ្ញុំ ឆ្លើយ ថា៖ « តើ គួរ ឲ្យ មនុស្ស ដូច ខ្ញុំរត់ គេច ឬ ? តើ មនុស្ស ដូច ខ្ញុំនេះ អាច ចូល ទៅ ក្នុង ព្រះ‌វិហារ ឲ្យ រួច ជីវិត ឬ ? ខ្ញុំ មិន ចូល ទៅក្នុង ព្រះ វិហារទេ ! »

I realized that it was not God who sent him , but that he had prophesied against me . Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him .
ខ្ញុំ យល់ ឃើញ ថា ព្រះអម្ចាស់ មិន បាន ចាត់ គាត់ឲ្យ ធ្វើ ដូច្នោះ ឡើយ ប៉ុន្តែ គាត់ បាន ថ្លែង ទំនាយ នេះទាស់ នឹង ខ្ញុំ។ ព្រោះលោក ថូប៊ី‌យ៉ា និងលោក សាន‌បាឡាត បាន ជួល គាត់។

They hired him to make me afraid , so that I might⟡ do what he said and sin , so they could give me a bad name in order to humiliate me .
ដ្បិត គេ បាន ជួល គាត់ ឲ្យ ធ្វើ ដូច្នេះ ដើម្បី ឲ្យ ខ្ញុំ ភ័យ ខ្លាច ឲ្យ ខ្ញុំ ធ្វើ តាម ហើយ ប្រព្រឹត្ត អំពើ បាប ប្រ‌យោជន៍ ឲ្យ គេ បាន រឿងនឹង បង្ខូច ឈ្មោះ ខ្ញុំ ហើយ ត្មះ‌តិះ‌ដៀល ខ្ញុំ។

Call to mind Tobiah and Sanballat , my God , and all that they did . Also call to mind the prophetess Noadiah and the rest of the prophets who tried to make me be afraid .
ព្រះអម្ចាស់ នៃ ទូល‌បង្គំ អើយ សូម នឹក ចាំ ពីលោក ថូប៊ី‌យ៉ា និងលោក សាន‌បាឡាត តាម ការ ទាំង នេះ ដែលគេ បាន ប្រព្រឹត្ត ។ហើយសូមនឹក ចាំ ពី នាង ណូ‌អាឌា ជា ហោរា និង ហោរា ឯ ទៀតៗ ដែល ចង់ បំភ័យ ទូល‌បង្គំ ផង។

So the wall was finished on the twenty - fifth day of the month of Elul , after fifty - two days .
ដូច្នេះ កំផែង បានសង់ ចប់ សព្វ គ្រប់ នៅ ថ្ងៃទី ម្ភៃ ប្រាំ ខែ ភទ្រ‌បទ គឺ ក្នុងរយៈ ពេលហា សិប ពីរ ថ្ងៃ។

When all our enemies heard of it , all the nations around us , they became⟡ afraid and they fell⟡ greatly in their own eyes . For they knew⟡ the work was done with the help of our God .
កាល ខ្មាំង សត្រូវ របស់ យើង ទាំង ប៉ុន្មាន បាន ឮដំណឹង នេះ សាសន៍ ដទៃ ទាំង ប៉ុន្មាន ដែល នៅ ជុំ វិញ យើង ក៏ ភ័យ ខ្លាច ហើយ គេ ទ្រោម ចុះ ជា ខ្លាំង នៅ ចំពោះ ភ្នែករបស់ ខ្លួន។ ដ្បិត គេ យល់ ឃើញ ថា កិច្ច ការ នេះ កើត ឡើង ដោយ សារ ជំនួយ របស់ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ នៃ យើង។

At this time the nobles of Judah sent many letters to Tobiah , and Tobiah 's letters came to them .
