David assembled all the officials of Israel at Jerusalem : the officials of the tribes , the officers of the divisions that served the king in their scheduled work , the commanders of thousands and of hundreds , the managers over all the property and possessions of the king and of his sons , and the officers and fighting men , including the most skilled of them .

Теперь перед всем Израилем , собранием Господа говорю нашему Богу : " Соблюдайте и исполняйте все заповеди Господа , вашего Бога , чтобы вы могли владеть этой доброй землёй и оставить её после себя в наследство своим детям навсегда .

As for you , Solomon my son , know the God of your father , and serve him with your whole heart and a willing spirit . Do this because Yahweh searches all hearts and understands every motivation of everyone 's thoughts . И ты , Соломон , мой сын , знай Бога твоего отца , служи Ему от всего сердца и от всей души , так как Господь испытывает все сердца и знает все мысли . Если будешь искать Его , то найдёшь , а если оставишь Его , Он навсегда оставит тебя .
