Господь сказал Моисею : « Скажи Аарону : " Возьми свой посох и протяни руку на воды египтян : на их реки , на их потоки , на их озёра и на всякое хранилище их вод – и всё превратится в кровь . Будет кровь по всей земле Египта и в деревянных , и в каменных сосудах " .

Moses and Aaron did as Yahweh commanded . Aaron raised the staff and struck the water in the river , in the sight of Pharaoh and his servants . All the water in the river turned to blood .
Моисей и Аарон сделали , как велел Господь . Аарон поднял посох , ударил по воде в реке перед фараоном и его рабами , и вся вода в реке превратилась в кровь .

The fish in the river died , and the river began to stink . The Egyptians could not drink water from the river , and the blood was everywhere in the land of Egypt .
