Woe is me ! I have become like the gathering of summer fruit , and like the grapes that have been gleaned ; there is no grape cluster to eat , no ripe early fig that my soul desires .
हाय म ! म ग्रीष्म ऋतुमा बटुलिएको फलझैँ भएको छु , र रस निकालिएको दाखझैँ भएको छु । त्यहाँ खानलाई दाखको झुप्पा छैन , र मेरो प्राणले इच्छा गरेकोजस्तो पहिले नै पाकेको अन्जीर पनि छैन ।

Faithful people have disappeared from the land ; there is no upright person in all mankind . They all lie in wait to shed blood ; each one hunts his own brother with a net .
भुमिबाट विश्‍वसनीय मानिसहरू बिलिन भएका छन् । सारा मानवजातिमा कोही सोझो मानिस छैन । तिनीहरू सबै रक्तपातको निम्ति पर्खिरहन्छन् । हरेकले आफ्नो दाजुभाइलाई जालले शिकार गर्दछ ।

तिनीहरूका हातहरू हानी गर्नलाई पोक्त छन् । शासकले पैसा माग्दछन् , न्यायकर्ता घूस लिनको निम्ति तयार छन् , र शक्तिशाली मानिसले आफूले प्राप्‍त गर्न चाहेको कुरा अरूहरूसँग माग्दछ । यसरी तिनीहरू एकसाथ षड्यन्त्र रच्छन् ।

The best of them is like a brier , the most upright is worse than a thorn hedge . It is the day foretold by your watchmen , the day of your punishment . Now is the time of their confusion .
तिनीहरूमध्येको उत्कृष्‍टचाहिँ काँडाझैँ छ , सबैभन्दा सोझोचाहिँ काँडाको झाँगभन्दा पनि खराब छ । तिमीहरूका पहरेदारहरूले पहिले नै बताएको दिन , तिमीहरूको दण्डको दिन यही हो । अब यो तिनीहरूको भ्रमको समय हो ।

कुनै पनि छिमेकीमाथि विश्‍वास नगर्नू । कुनै साथिमाथि भरोसा नगर्नू । तिम्रा अङ्गालोमा बस्‍ने स्‍त्रीसँग पनि होसियारसँग बोल्नू ।

किनभने छोरोले आफ्ना बुबाको अनादर गर्दछ , छोरी आफ्नी आमाको विरुद्धमा उठ्छे , र बुहारी सासूको विरुद्ध । मानिसको शत्रु आफ्नै घरका मानिसहरू हुन् ।

But as for me , I will look to Yahweh . I will wait for the God of my salvation ; my God will hear me .
तर मचाहिँ परमप्रभुतर्फ आँखा लगाउँछु । म मेरो मुक्तिको परमेश्‍वरको पर्खाइमा छु , मेरा परमेश्‍वरले मलाई सुन्‍नुहुन्छ ।

ए मेरो शत्रु , मलाई देखेर रमाहट नगर् । म लडेपछि , फेरि उठ्नेछु । जब म अन्धकारमा बस्दछु , परमप्रभु मेरो निम्ति ज्योति हुनुहुनेछ ।

Then my enemy will see it , and shame will cover the one who said to me , " Where is Yahweh your God ? " My eyes will look at her ; she will be trampled down like the mud in the streets .
अनि मेरो शत्रुले त्यो देख्‍नेछ , र “ परमप्रभु तेरो परमेश्‍वर कहाँ छ ? ” भनेर भन्‍नेलाई शर्मले ढाक्‍नेछ । मेरा आँखाले त्यसलाई हेर्नेछन् । सडकहरूका माटोझैँ त्यो कुल्चिनेछे ।

A day to build⟡ your walls will come ; on that day the boundaries will be extended very far .

त्यस दिन अश्शूर र मिश्रका शहरहरुबाट , मिश्रदेखि यूफ्रेटिस नदीसम्म , समुद्रदेखि समुद्रसम्म , र पर्वतदेखि पर्वतसम्म मानिसहरू तिमीहरूकहाँ आउनेछन् ।

But the land will be desolate because of the people who are living there , because of the fruit of their actions .
तर भुमि भने त्यसमा बसोबास गर्ने मानिसहरूका कारण , र तिनीहरूका कामका प्रतिफलको कारण उजाड हुनेछ ।

Shepherd your people with your rod , the flock of your inheritance . They live alone in a thicket , in the midst of a pastureland . Let them graze in Bashan and Gilead as in the old days .
आफ्ना मानिसहरू , अर्थात् तपाईंका उत्तराधिकारको बगाललाई आफ्नो छडीले नियन्त्रण गर्नुहोस् । तिनीहरू एक्लै खर्कको बिचमा , र जङ्गलमा बस्छन् । पुराना दिनहरूमा झैँ तिनीहरूलाई बाशान र गिलादमा चर्न दिनुहोस् ।

They will lick the dust like a snake , like creatures⟡ that crawl on the earth . They will come out of their dens with fear ; they will come with fear to you , Yahweh our God , and they will be afraid because of you .
तिनीहरूले सर्पले झैँ धुलो चाट्नेछन् , माटोमा घस्रने प्राणीझैँ तिनीहरूले गर्नेछन् । तिनीहरू आफ्ना गुफाहरूबाट डरसाथ निस्कनेछन् । परमप्रभु , हाम्रा परमेश्‍वर , तपाईंकहाँ तिनीहरू डरसाथ आउनेछन् , र तिनीहरू तपाईंको कारण भयभीत हुनेछन् ।

Who is a God like you — who takes away sin , who passes over the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance ? He does not keep his anger forever , because he delights in his covenant faithfulness .
तपाईंझैँ परमेश्‍वर को छ , जसले पापलाई मेटाउनुहुन्छ , र आफ्नो उत्तराधिकारका बाँकी रहेकाहरूको अपराध क्षमा गर्नुहुन्छ ? उहाँ सदाको निम्ति रिसाउनुहुन्‍न , किनभने उहाँ आफ्नो करारको विश्‍वसनीयतामा खुशी हुनुहुन्छ ।

You will again have compassion on us ; you will trample our iniquities under your feet⟡ . You will throw all our sins into the depths of the sea .
