ए लेबनान तेरा ढोकाहरू खोल् , ताकि आगोले तेरा देवदारुहरूलाई भस्म पारोस् !

Lament , cypress trees , for the cedar trees have fallen ! What was majestic has been devastated ! Lament , you oaks of Bashan , for the strong forest has gone down .
ए सल्लोको रूख , विलाप गर् , किनकि देवदारुका रूखहरू ढलेका छन् ! सुन्दर र महान् भनिएका कुराहरू ध्वस्त भएका छन् ! ए बाशानका फलाँटका रूखहरू , विलाप गर , किनभने त्यो ठुलो जङ्गल सखाप भएको छ ।

गोठालाहरू वेदनामा रुन्छन् , किनभने तिनीहरूको महिमा नष्‍ट पारिएको छ ! जवान सिंहहरू गर्जन्छन् , किनकि यर्दन नदीको घमण्ड नष्‍ट पारिएको छ ।

परमप्रभु मेरा परमेश्‍वर यस्तो भन्‍नुहुन्छ , “ गोठालाले झैँ काटिनको निम्ति अलग गरिएको बगालको हेरचाह गर् !

ती किन्‍नेहरूले तिनीहरूलाई काट्छन् र तिनीहरूलाई सजाय दिइँदैन , र तिनीहरूलाई बेच्नेहरूले भन्छन् , ‘ परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा होस् ! म धनी भएको छु ! ’ किनकि बगालका मालिकहरूका निम्ति काम गर्ने गोठालाहरूले तिनीहरूमाथि दया देखाएनन् ।

For I will no longer pity the inhabitants of the land ! — this⟡ is Yahweh 's declaration . See ! I myself am about to turn over every person into the hand of his neighbor and into the hand of his king , and they will destroy the land and none of them will I deliver them from their hand . "
किनकि अब म भूमिमा बसोबास गर्नेहरूलाई दया देखाउनेछैनँ ! - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ । हेर , म हरेक मानिसलाई त्यसको छिमेकी र त्यसको राजाको हातमा सुम्पन लाग्दै छु , अनि तिनीहरूले भूमिलाई नष्‍ट गर्नेछन् र तिनीहरूका हातबाट म कसैलाई पनि छुटाउनेछैन । ”

So I became the shepherd of the flock marked for slaughter , for those who dealt in sheep . I took two staffs ; one staff I called " Favor " and the other I called " Unity . " In this way I shepherded the flock .
यसैकारण म काटिनको निम्ति चिन्ह लगाइएको भेडाको बगालको गोठालो बनेँ । मैले दुईवटा लौरो लिएँ : एउटा लौरोलाई मैले “ अनुग्रह ” नाउँ दिएँ र अर्कोलाई “ एकता ” नाउँ दिएँ । यसरी मैले बगालको हेरचाह गरेँ ।

In one month I destroyed the three shepherds . I became impatient with them , and they also hated me .
एक महिनामा मैले तिनवटा गोठालालाई नाश गरेँ । म तिनीहरूप्रति धैर्य भइनँ , र तिनीहरूले मलाई घृणा गरे ।

Then I said to the owners , " I will not work as a shepherd for you any longer . The sheep that are dying — let them die ; the sheep that are being destroyed — let them be destroyed . Let the sheep that remain each eat the flesh of its neighbor . "
अनि मैले मालिकहरूलाई भनेँ , “ म अब तिमीहरूका निम्ति गोठालोको रूपमा काम गर्नेछैनँ । मर्न लागेका भेडाहरू मरून् , नष्‍ट भइरहेका भेडाहरूलाई नष्‍ट हुनदेऊ । बाँकी रहेको भेडोलेचाहिँ आफ्नो छिमेकीको मासु खाओस् । ”

So I took my staff " Favor " and broke it to break the covenant that I had made with all of my tribes .
यसैकारण मैले आफ्नो लौरो “ अनुग्रह ” लिएँ अनि आफ्ना सबै कुलहरूसँग गरेको करार तोड्नको निम्ति त्यो भाँचिदिएँ ।

On that day the covenant was broken , and those who dealt in sheep and who were watching me knew that Yahweh had spoken .
त्यस दिन त्यो करार तोडियो , र भेडाको हेरचाह गर्नेहरू र मलाई हेर्नेहरूले परमप्रभु बोल्नुभएको थाहा पाए ।

I said to them , " If it seems good to you , pay me my wages . But if not , do not do it . " So they weighed out my wages — thirty pieces of silver .
मैले तिनीहरूलाई भनेँ , “ यदि तिमीहरूलाई यो असल लागे , मलाई मेरो ज्याला देओ । तर तिमीहरूलाई असल नलागे , नदेओ । ” यसैले तिनीहरूले मेरो ज्याला चाँदीका तिस टुक्रा हिसाब गरे ।

Then Yahweh said to me , " Deposit the silver in the treasury , the excellent price at which they valued you ! " So I took the thirty pieces of silver and deposited them in the treasury in the house of Yahweh .
अनि परमप्रभुले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो , “ तिनीहरूले तेरो मुल्य तय गरेको उत्कृष्‍ट मोलमा त्यो चाँदी भण्डारमा जम्मा गर् ! ” यसैकारण मैले ती तिस टुक्रा चाँदी लिएर परमप्रभुको भवनमा भण्डारमा जम्मा गरेँ ।

Then I broke my second staff , " Unity , " to break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel .
अनि यहूदा र इस्राएलबिचको दाजुभाइको नातालाई तोड्नको निम्ति मैले मेरो दोस्रो लौरो “ एकता ” पनि भाँचे ।

Yahweh said to me , " Again , take the equipment of a foolish shepherd for yourself ,
परमप्रभुले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो , “ फेरि , मूर्ख गोठालोको उपकरण तेरो निम्ति ली ,

for see , I am about to set in place a shepherd in the land . He will not care for the perishing sheep . He will not seek out the sheep gone missing , nor heal the crippled sheep . He will not feed the sheep that are healthy , but will eat the flesh of the fattened sheep and will tear off their hooves .
किनभने हेर् , म भूमिमा एउटा गोठालो नियुक्त गर्दैछु । त्यसले हराउँदै गरेको भेडाको वास्ता गर्नेछैन । हराएको भेडालाई त्यो खोज्न जानेछैन , न त घाइते भेडालाई निको पार्नेछ । त्यसले स्वस्थ भेडाहरूलाई खुवाउनेछैन , तर मोटो भेडाको मासु खानेछ र तिनीहरूका खुरलाई च्यात्‍नेछ ।

Woe to the worthless shepherd who forsakes the flock ! May the sword come against his arm and his right eye ! May his arm wither away and may his right eye become blind ! "
धिक्‍कार , आफ्नो बगाललाई त्याग्‍ने बेकामको गोठालो ! त्यसको पाखुरा र दाहिने आँखाको विरुद्ध तरवार चलाइयोस् ! त्यसको पाखुरा सुकोस् र त्यसको दाहिने आँखा अन्धो होस् ! ”
