JOS 2:1     Alignment score: 0.322 → 0.336
Then Joshua son of Nun secretly sent two men out from Shittim as spies . He said , " Go , look over the land , especially Jericho . " They went away and came to the house of a prostitute whose name was Rahab , and they lodged there .
नूनका छोरा यहोशूले शित्तीमबाट दुई जना मानिसलाई जासुसको रूपमा पठाए । तिनले भने , " जाओ , त्यो भूमिलाई हेर , विशेष गरी यरीहोलाई हेर । " तिनीहरू गए र राहब नाउँ गरेकी वेश्याकहाँ आए र तिनीहरू त्यहीँ बास बसे ।

It was told to the king of Jericho , " Look , men of Israel have come here to spy on the land . "
यरीहोका राजालाई यसो भनियो , " हेर्नुहोस् , यस भूमिको भेद पत्ता लगाउन इस्राएलका मानिसहरू यहाँ आएका छन् । "

The king of Jericho sent word to Rahab and said , " Bring out the men who have come to you who entered your house , for they have come to spy on the whole land . "
यरीहोका राजाले राहबकहाँ खबर पठाए र भने , " तिमीकहाँ आउने ती मानिसहरूलाई बाहिर लेऊ , जो तिम्रो घरमा प्रवेश गरेका थिए , किनभने तिनीहरू सारा भूमिको जासुस गर्न आएका छन् । "

तर ती महिलाले ती दुई जना मानिसलाई लगेर लुकाएकी थिइन् । तिनले भनिन् , " हो , मानिसहरू मकहाँ आएका थिए , तर तिनीहरू कहाँबाट आएका थिए , मलाई थाहा भएन ।

तिनीहरू सहरको प्रवेशद्वार बन्द गर्ने समय हुँदा साँझपख गए । तिनीहरू कता गए मलाई थाहा भएन । तपाईंहरू छिटो - छिटो जानुभयो भने सम्भवतः तपाईंहरूले तिनीहरूलाई भेट्टाउनु हुनेछ । "

तिनले भनिन् , " मलाई थाहा छ , परमप्रभुले यो भूमि तपाईंहरूलाई दिनुभएको छ र तपाईंहरूको डर हामीमाथि आइपरेको छ । यो भूमिमा बस्‍ने सबै मानिस तपाईंहरूको सामु शिथिल हुने छन् ।

We have heard how Yahweh dried up the water of the Sea of Reeds for you when you came⟡ out of Egypt . We also heard what you did to the two kings of the Amorites on other side of the Jordan — Sihon and Og — whom you completely destroyed .
तपाईंहरू मिश्रबाट आउनुहुँदा परमप्रभुले लाल समुद्रको पानी कसरी सुकाउनुभयो भनी हामीले सुनेका छौँ । तपाईंहरूले यर्दन पारिका दुई जना एमोरी राजाहरू सीहोन र ओगलाई के गर्नुभयो भनेर पनि हामीले सुनेका छौँ ।

As soon as we had heard it , our hearts melted and there was no courage left in anyone — for Yahweh your God , he is God in heaven above and on the earth below .
हामीले यो सुन्‍ने बित्तिकै हाम्रा हृदय शिथिल भए , कसैसँग पनि साहस रहेन , किनभने परमप्रभु तपाईंहरूका परमेश्‍वर नै माथि स्वर्गमा र तल पृथ्वीमा परमेश्‍वर हुनुहुन्छ ।

Now then , please swear to me by Yahweh that , just as I have been kind to you , you will also deal⟡ kindly with my father 's house . Give me a sure sign
बिन्ती छ , मैले जसरी तपाईंहरूलाई दया गरेको छु त्यसरी नै तपाईंहरूले पनि मेरो पिताको घरानालाई दयापूर्वक व्यवहार गर्नुहुने छ भनी परमप्रभुको नाउँमा शपथ खानुहोस् । मलाई एउटा चिन्ह दिनुहोस् ,

that you will spare the lives of my father , mother , brothers , sisters and all their families , and that you will save us from death . "
कि तपाईंहरूले मेरा बुबा , आमा , दाजुभाइहरू , दिदी - बहिनीहरू र तिनीहरूका सबै परिवारको जीवन बचाउनुहुने छ र तपाईंहरूले हामीलाई मृत्युबाट जोगाउनुहुने छ ।

The men said to her , " Our life for yours , even to death ! If you do not speak about our business , then , when Yahweh gives us this land we will be merciful and faithful to you . "
ती मानिसहरूले तिनलाई भने , " मृत्युसम्म नै तिमीहरूको जीवनको सट्टामा हाम्रो जीवन ! यदि तिमीले हाम्रो कामबारे बताएनौ भने , जब परमप्रभुले यो भूमि हामीलाई दिनुहुने छ हामी तिमीसँग दयालु र विश्‍वासयोग्य हुने छौँ । "

त्यसैले तिनले डोरीको सहायताले तिनीहरूलाई झ्यालबाट तल झारे । तिनी बसोवास गर्ने घर सहरको पर्खालभित्र नै बनाइएको थियो ।

तिनले तिनीहरूलाई भने , " पहाडतिर जानुहोस् र लुक्‍नुहोस् , नत्र पिछा गर्नेहरूले तपाईंहरूलाई भेट्टाउने छन् । पिछा गर्नेहरू नफर्केसम्म तिन दिनसम्म त्यहीँ लुक्‍नुहोस् । अनि आफ्नो बाटो लाग्‍नुहोस् । "

The men said to her , " We will be not be bound to the promises of the oath you made us swear to , if you do not do this⟡ .
ती मानिसहरूले तिनलाई भने , " यदि तिमीले यो कुरा गरेनौ भने हामीले तिमीलाई गरेका प्रतिज्ञाहरू लागु हुने छैनन् ।

When we come into the land , you must tie this scarlet rope in the window through which you let us down , and you will gather into the house your father and mother , your brothers and all your father 's household .
हामी यो भूमिमा आउँदा तिमीले हामी जुन झ्यालबाट झरेका थियौँ त्यहीँ नै यो रातो डोरी बाँध्‍नुपर्छ र तिमीले तिम्रा बुबा , आमा , तिम्रा दाजुभाइहरू र तिम्रा बुबाका सबै घरानालाई घरभित्र ल्याउनुपर्छ ।

Whoever goes out of the doors of your house into the street , their blood will be upon their own heads and we will be guiltless . But if a hand is laid upon any who is with you in the house , his blood will be on our head .
तिम्रो घरबाहिर बाटोतिर जानेहरूको रगत तिनीहरूको शिरमाथि पर्ने छ र हामी दोषरहित हुने छौँ । तर घरमा तिमीसँगै रहने कुनै माथि हात लगाइयो भने , त्यसको रगत हाम्रो शिरमा पर्ने छ ।

But if you speak about our business , we will be free from the oath you made us swear . "
तर यदि तिमीले हाम्रा कामहरूबारे बतायौ भने , तिमीले हामीलाई खान लगाएको शपथबाट हामी मुक्‍त हुने छौँ ।

Rahab replied , " May what you say be done . " She sent them away and they left . Then she tied the scarlet rope in the window .
राहबले जवाफ दिए , " तपाईंहरूले भन्‍नुभएबमोजिम नै होस् । " तिनले तिनीहरूलाई पठाए र तिनीहरू गए । अनि तिनले झ्यालमा त्यो रातो डोरी बाँधिन् ।

They left and went up into the hills and they stayed there three days until their pursuers returned . The pursuers searched all along the road and found⟡ nothing .
तिनीहरू गए र पहाडतिर गए अनि तिनीहरूको पिछा गर्नेहरू नफर्केसम्म तिनीहरू तिन दिनसम्म त्यहीँ नै बसे । पिछा गर्नेहरूले बाटोमा सबैतिर खोजे र केही पनि भेट्टाएनन् ।

The two men returned and crossed over and came back to Joshua son of Nun , and they told him everything that had happened to them .
ती दुई जना मानिस फर्के र नूनका छोरा यहोशूकहाँ आए र तिनीहरूले तिनीहरूमाथि आइपरेका सबै कुरा तिनलाई बताए ।

They said to Joshua , " Truly Yahweh has given this land to us . All the inhabitants of the land are melting away because of us . "
तिनीहरूले यहोशूलाई भने , " साँच्‍चै , यो भूमि परमप्रभुले हामीलाई दिनुभएको छ । त्यो भूमिका सबै बासिन्दा हाम्रो कारणले शिथिल भइरहेका छन् । "
