So it came⟡ about , when Yahweh was going to take up Elijah by a whirlwind into heaven , that Elijah left with Elisha from Gilgal .
जब परमप्रभुले एलियालाई हावाको भूमरीद्वारा उठाएर स्‍वर्गमा लानै लाग्‍नुभएको थियो , तब एलीशालाई साथ लिएर एलिया गिलगालबाट गए ।

Elijah said to Elisha , " Stay here , please , because Yahweh has sent me to Bethel . " Elisha replied , " As Yahweh lives , and as you live⟡ , I will not leave you . " So they went down to Bethel .
एलियाले एलीशालाई भने , " कृपागरी यहीँ बस , किनकि परमप्रभुले मलाई बेथेलमा पठाउनुभएको छ । " एलीशाले जवाफ दिए , " परमप्रभु र तपाईंको नाउँमा शपथ खाएर भन्‍छु , म तपाईंलाई छोड्नेछैनँ । " त्यसैले तिनीहरू बेथेलमा झरे ।

The sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came to Elisha and said to him , " Do you know that Yahweh will take away your master from you today ? " Elisha replied , " Yes , I know it , but do not talk about it . "

एलियाले तिनलाई भने , " एलीशा , कृपागरी यहीँ बस , किनकि परमप्रभुले मलाई यरीहोमा पठाउनुभएको छ । ” तब एलीशाले जवाफ दिए , " परमप्रभु र तपाईंको नाउँमा शपथ खाएर भन्छु , म तपाईंलाई छोड्नेछैनँ । ” त्यसैले तिनीहरू यरीहोमा गए ।

Later , fifty of the sons of the prophets stood opposite them at a distance while the two stood by the Jordan .

तिनीहरू पारि पुगेपछि एलियाले एलीशालाई भने , " तिमीबाट मलाई लानुअघि तिम्रो निम्ति मैले के गर्नुपर्छ मलाई भन ? " एलीशाले जवाफ दिए , " तपाईंको आत्माको दोब्बर भाग ममा आउन दिनुहोस् । "

Elijah answered , " You have asked for a difficult thing . Nevertheless , if you see me when I am taken from you , this will happen for you , but if not , it will not happen . "

एलियाबाट खसेको खास्टोले तिनले पानीलाई हिर्काए र भने , " एलियाका परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर कहाँ हुनुहुन्छ ? जब तिनले पानीलाई हिर्काए तब त्‍यो दुईतिर विभाजित भयो र एलीशा पारि गए ।

When the sons of the prophets who were from Jericho saw him across⟡ from them , they said , " The spirit of Elijah does rest on Elisha ! " So they came to meet him , and bowed themselves to the ground before him .
जब यरीहोबाट आएका अगमवक्ताहरूका छोराहरूले तिनी पारि तरेको देखे तब तिनीहरूले भने , " एलियाका आत्माले एलीशामा बास गरेको छ । ” त्यसैले तिनलाई भेट्न तिनीहरू आए , र तिनको अघि आफैलाई भुइँसम्मै निहुराए ।

तिनीहरूले तिनलाई भने , “ हेर्नुहोस् , तपाईंका दासहरूका माझमा पचास जना बलिया मानिस छन् । हामी अनुरोध गर्छौं कि तिनीहरूलाई जान र तपाईंका मालिकको खोजी गर्न दिनुहोस् , कतै परमप्रभुका आत्माले तिनलाई माथि लानुभएको र तिनलाई कुनै पहाड वा उपत्यकामा फाल्‍नुभएको छ कि ? " एलीशाले जवाफ दिए , " अहँ , तिनीहरूलाई नपठाओ । "

But when they urged Elisha until he was ashamed , he said , " Send them . " Then they sent fifty men , and they looked for three days , but did not find⟡ him .
तर एलिशा लाजमा पारून्‍जेलसम्म तिनीहरूले बिन्ती गरेको हुनाले तिनले भने “ तिनीहरूलाई पठाओ । ” तब तिनीहरूले पचास जना मानिस पठाए , र तिनीहरूले तिन दिनसम्म खोजी गरे , तर तिनलाई पाएनन् ।

They came back to Elisha , while he stayed at Jericho , and he said to them , " Did I not say to you , ' Do not go ' ? "

Elisha went out to the spring of water and threw salt in it ; then he said , " Yahweh says this⟡ , ' I have healed these waters . From this time on , there will be no more death or unfruitful land . ' "
एलीशा पानीको मुहानमा गए , र त्यसमा नुन छर्किदिए । तब तिनले भने , “ परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ , ' मैले यो पानीलाई शुद्ध पारेको छु । अब फेरि मृत्यु हुने वा फलविहीन जमिन हुनेछैन ' । ”

त्यसपछि एलीशा त्यहाँबाट बेथेलमा गए । तिनी बाटोमा जाँदै गर्दा सहरबाट केही केटाहरू आए र तिनको खिसी गरे । तिनीहरूले भने , " ए मुडुले , तिमी माथि जाऊ ! ए मुडुले , तिमी माथि जाऊ ! "

Elisha looked behind him and saw them ; he called on Yahweh to curse them . Then two female bears came out of the woods and injured forty - two of the boys .
एलीशा आफ्‍नो पछाडि फर्के र तिनीहरूलाई देखे । तिनीहरूमाथि सराप परोस् भनी तिनले परमप्रभुलाई पुकारे । त्यसपछि जङ्गलबाट दुईवटा पोथी भालु निस्केर आयो र बयालिस जना केटाहरूलाई घाइते बनाए ।

Then Elisha went from there to Mount Carmel , and from there he returned to Samaria .
तब एलीशा त्यहाँबाट कर्मेल डाँडामा गए , र त्यहाँबाट तिनी सामरिया फर्के ।
