Yahweh , work against those who work against me ; fight against those who fight against me .
हे परमप्रभु , मेरो विरुद्धमा काम गर्नेहरूका विरुद्धमा काम गर्नुहोस् । मेरो विरुद्धमा युद्ध गर्नेहरूका विरुद्धमा युद्ध गर्नुहोस् ।

Grab your small shield and large shield ; rise⟡ up and help me .
तपाईंको साना ढाल र ठुला ढाल लिनुहोस् । उठ्नुहोस् र मलाई सहायता गर्नुहोस् ।

Use your spear and battle ax against those who chase me ; say to my soul , " I am your salvation . "
मलाई खेद्‍नेहरूका विरुद्धमा तपाईंको भाला र बन्‍चरो प्रयोग गर्नुहोस् । मेरो प्राणलाई भन्‍नुहोस , " म नै तेरो उद्धार हुँ । "

May those who seek my life be shamed⟡ and dishonored . May those who plan to harm me be turned back and confounded .
मेरो ज्याल लिन खोज्‍नेहरू लज‍जित र अपमानित होऊन् । मेरो हानि गर्न योजना रच्‍नेहरू पछि हटून् र व्‍याकुल होऊन् ।

May they be as chaff before the wind , as the angel of Yahweh drives them away .
परमप्रभुका दूतले तिनीहरूलाई लखेट्दा तिनीहरू हावाको सामु भुसझैं होऊन् ।

तर म परमप्रभुमा आनन्दित हुनेछु र उहाँको उद्धारमा रमाउनेछु ।

मेरा सबै हाडहरूले भन्‍नेछन् , " हे परमप्रभु , तपाईंझैं को छ , जसले थिचोमिचोमा परेकाहरूलाई तिनीहरू भन्‍दा अति बलियाहरूबाट , र गरिब तथा दरिद्रहरूलाई तिनीहरूलाई लुट्न खोज्नेहरूबाट बचाउनुहुन्‍छ ? "

Unrighteous witnesses rise up ; they accuse me falsely .
अधर्मी साक्षीहरू खडा हुन्छन् । तिनीहरू मलाई झुटो दोष लगाउँछन् ।

They repay me evil for good . I am sorrowful .
तिनीहरूले मलाई भलाइको सट्टा खराबी गर्छन् । म दुःखी छु ।

कत्ति पनि आदर नगरी तिनीहरूले मेरो गिल्‍ला गरे । तिनीहरूले क्रोधमा ममाथि आफ्‍ना दाँत किटे ।

Lord , how long will you look on ? Rescue my soul from their destructive attacks , my life from the lions .
हे परमप्रभु , कहिलेसम्म तपाईं हेर्नुहुन्छ ? तिनीहरूका विनाशपूर्ण आक्रमणबाट मेरो प्राणलाई , र सिंहहरूबाट मेरो जीवनलाई बचाउनुहोस् ।

Then I will thank you in the great assembly ; I will praise you among many people .
तब ठुलो सभामा म तपाईंलाई धन्यवाद दिनेछु । धेरै जना मानिसका माझमा म तपाईंको प्रशंसा गर्नेछु ।

मेरा छली शत्रुहरूलाई ममाथि आनन्‍दित हुन नदिनुहोस् । तिनीहरूका दुष्‍ट योजनाहरू पुरा गर्न तिनीहरूलाई नदिनुहोस् ।

For they do not speak peace , but they devise deceitful words against those in our land who live⟡ in peace .
किनकि तिनीहरूले शान्तिको कुरा गर्दैनन् । तर हाम्रो देशमा शान्तिमा बसेकाहरूका विरुद्धमा तिनीहरू छलपूर्ण कुरा गर्छन् ।

They open their mouths wide against me ; they said , " Aha , Aha , our eyes have seen it . "
मेरो विरुद्धमा तिनीहरूले आफ्‍ना मुख चौडा खोल्‍छन् । तिनीहरूले भने , " आहा , आहा , हाम्रा आँखाले देखेका छन् । "

You have seen it , Yahweh , do not be silent ; Lord , do not be far from me .
हे परमप्रभु , तपाईंले यो देख्‍नुभएको छ , चूप नलाग्‍नुहोस् । हे परमप्रभु , मबाट टाढा नहुनुहोस् ।

Arouse yourself and awake to my defense ; My God and my Lord , defend my cause⟡ .
आफैलाई जाग्‍नुहोस् र मेरो रक्षा गर्न जाग्‍नुहोस् । हे मेरो परमेश्‍वर , मेरा प्रभु , मेरो रक्षा गर्नुहोस् ।

Defend me , Yahweh my God , because of your righteousness ; do not let them rejoice over me .
हे परमप्रभु मेरा परमेश्‍वर , तपाईंको धार्मिकताको कारणले मेरो रक्षा गर्नुहोस् । तिनीहरूलाई ममाथि आनन्‍दित हुन नदिनुहोस् ।

Do not let them say in their heart , " Aha , we have what we wanted . " Do not let them say , " We have devoured him . "
तिनीहरूले आफ्‍नो हृदयमा यसो नभनून् , " आहा , हामीले जे इच्‍छा गर्‍यौं सो पाएका छौं । " तिनीहरूले यसो नभनून् , " हामीले त्यसलाई निलेका छौं । "

May they be put to shame and may they be confounded who rejoice at my distress . May those who exalt themselves over me be clothed with shame and dishonor .
मेरो कष्‍टमा आनन्‍दित हुनेहरू लज्‍जित होऊन् र तिनीहरू व्‍याकुल होऊन् । ममाथि आफैलाई उच्‍च पार्नेहरू लाज र अनादरले ढाकिन परोस् ।

Let those who desire my vindication shout for joy and be glad ; may they say continually , " Yahweh be praised , he who delights in the welfare of his servant . "
मेरो निर्दोषताको इच्छा गर्नेहरू आनन्दले कराऊन् र खुसी होऊन् । तिनीहरूले निरन्‍तर यसो भनून् , " परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा होस् , जो आफ्नो सेवकको भलो हुँदा खुसी हुनुहुन्छ । "
