God , foreign nations have come into your inheritance ; they have defiled your holy temple ; they have turned Jerusalem into a heap of ruins .
हे परमेश्‍वर , विदेशी जातिहरू तपाईंको उत्तराधिकारमा आएका छन् । तिनीहरूले तपाईंको पवित्र मन्दिरलाई अपवित्र तुल्याएका छन् । तिनीहरूले यरूशलेमलाई भग्‍नावशेषको थुप्रो बनाएका छन् ।

जातिहरूले किन यसो भन्‍ने " तिनीहरूका परमेश्‍वर खोइ कहाँ छ ? " तपाईंका सेवकहरूका रगत बगाइएको बदला जातिहरूमाथि हाम्रै सामु लिनुहोस् ।

May the groans of the prisoners come before you ; with the greatness of your power keep the children of death alive .
कैदीहरूका सुस्‍केरा तपाईंको सामु आओस् । तपाईंको शक्तिको महान्‌ताले मृत्युका सन्तानहरूलाई जीवित राख्‍नुहोस् ।
