Surely God is good to Israel , to those with a pure heart .
निश्‍चय नै परमेश्‍वर इस्राएलको निम्‍ति , शुद्ध हृदय हुनेहरूका निम्‍ति भला हुनुहुन्छ ।

यस्ता अन्धोपनबाट नै पाप आउँछ । तिनीहरूका हृदयहरूबाट दुष्‍ट विचारहरू जान्छन् ।

They mock and speak wickedly ; in their arrogance they threaten oppression .
तिनीहरू दुष्‍टतापूर्वक गिल्ला गर्छन् र बोल्छन् । आफ्‍नो अहङ्कारमा तिनीहरूले अत्यचारको धम्की दिन्छन् ।

They set their mouth against the heavens , and their tongues march through the earth .
आफ्नो मुखले तिनीहरू स्वर्गको विरुद्धमा बोल्‍छन् र तिनीहरूका जिब्रोहरूले पृथ्वीको अधिकार गर्छन् ।

Surely it is in vain that I have guarded my heart and washed my hands in innocence .
निश्‍चय नै मैले व्यार्थमा मेरो हृदयलाई सुरक्षित राखेको छु र निर्दोषतामा मेरा हातहरू धोएको छु ।

For all the day long I have been afflicted and disciplined every morning .

Surely you put them in slippery places ; you bring them down to ruin .
निश्‍चय नै तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई चिप्‍लो ठाउँहरूमा राख्‍नुहुन्‍छ । तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई सर्वनाश लानुहुन्‍छ ।

How they become a wilderness in a moment ! They come to an end and are finished in awful terrors .
तिनीहरू कसरी क्षणभरमा नै उजाडस्‍थान⟡ बने ! तिनीहरूको अन्‍त भयो र भयानक त्रासहरूले समाप्‍त पारिए ।

They are like a dream after one wakes up ; Lord , when you arise , you will think nothing of those dreams .
कोही ब्युँझँदा , ती सपनामा भएजस्तो हुन्‍छन् । हे परमप्रभु , जब तपाई खडा हुनुहुन्छ , तब तपाईंले ती सपनाहरूका बारेमा केही विचार गर्नुहुन्‍न ।

For my heart was grieved , and I was deeply wounded .
किनकि मेरो हृदय शोकमा परेको थियो र म गहिरो चोटमा परेको थिएँ ।
