Yahweh said to Samuel , " How long will you mourn for Saul , since I have rejected him from being king over Israel ? Fill your horn with oil and go . I will send you to Jesse of Bethlehem , for I have selected for myself a king among his sons . "
परमप्रभुले शमूएललाई भन्‍नुभयो , " मैले शाऊललाई इस्राएलको राजा हुनबाट इन्कार गरेको कारणले तँ उसको निम्ति कहिलेसम्म विलाप गर्नेछस् ? तेरो सीङ्‌मा तेल भर् र जा । म तँलाई बेथलेहेमको यिशैकहाँ पठाउनेछु , किनकि मैले त्यसका छोराहरूका बिचबाट एक जनालाई मेरो निम्ति राजा चुनेको छु । "

Samuel said , " How can I go ? If Saul hears of it , he will kill me . " Yahweh said , " Take a heifer with you and say , ' I have come to sacrifice to Yahweh . '
शमूएलले सोधे , " म कसरी जान सक्‍छु ? शाऊलले यो सुने भने , उसले मलाई मार्नेछ । " परमप्रभुले भन्‍नुभयो , " तँसँगै एउटा कोरली लैजा र भन् , ' म परमप्रभुलाई बलिदान चढाउन आएको छु । '

Call Jesse to the sacrifice , and I will show you what you will do . You will anoint for me the one whom I tell you . "
यिशैलाई पनि बलिदानमा बोला र तैंले के गर्नुपर्नेछ म तँलाई देखाउनेछु । मैले तँलाई देखाएको एक जनालाई तैंले अभिषेक गर्नेछस् । "

Samuel did as Yahweh said and went to Bethlehem . The elders of the city were trembling as they came to meet him and said , " Are you coming in peace ? "
शमूएलले परमप्रभुले भन्‍नुभएझैं गरे र बेथलेहेम गए । सहरका धर्म - गुरुहरू तिनलाई भेट्न आउँदा तिनीहरू डरले कामिरहेका थिए र भने , " के तपाईं शान्तिमा नै आउँदै हुनुहुन्छ ? "

He said , " In peace ; I have come to sacrifice to Yahweh . Prepare to set yourselves apart and come with me to the sacrifice . " Then he set apart Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice .
तिनले भने , " शान्तिमा नै हो । म परमप्रभुलाई बिलदान चढाउन आएको छु । आफैलाई अलग गर्न तयार होओ र मसँगै बलिदानमा आओ । " तिनले यिशै र तिनका छोराहरूलाई अलग गरे र तिनीहरूलाई बलिदानमा निमन्त्रणा गरे ।

When they came , he looked at Eliab and said to himself that Yahweh 's anointed was certainly standing before him .
जब तिनीहरू आए , तिनले एलीआबलाई हेरे र मनमनै भने परमप्रभुको अभिषिक्‍त जन निश्‍चय नै तिनको सामु उभिरहेका थिए ।

But Yahweh said to Samuel , " Do not look at his outward appearance , or on the height of his stature ; because I have rejected him . For Yahweh does not see as man sees ; man looks on the outward appearance , but Yahweh looks on the heart . "
तर परमप्रभुले शमूएललाई भन्‍नुभयो , " त्यसको बाह्य स्वरूप वा त्यसको कदको उचाइलाई नहेर् , किनभने मैले त्यसलाई इन्कार गरेको छु । किनभने परमप्रभुले मानिसले झैं हे्र्नुहुन्‍न । मानिसले बाहिरी स्वरूपलाई हेर्छ , तर परमप्रभुले हृदयलाई हेर्नुहुन्छ । "

Then Jesse called Abinadab and made him pass before Samuel . Then Samuel said , " Neither has Yahweh chosen this⟡ one . "
यिशैले अबीनादाबलाई बोलाए र शमूएलको सामुन्‍ने हिंड्न लगाए । तब शमूएलले भने , " परमप्रभुले यसलाई पनि चुन्‍नुभएको छैन । "

Jesse then made Shammah pass by , but Samuel said , " Neither has Yahweh chosen this⟡ one . "
यिशैले शम्मालाई नि हिंड्न लगाए , तर शमूएलले भने , " परमप्रभुले यसलाई पनि चुन्‍नुभएको छैन । "
1SA 16:10     Alignment score: 0.418
Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel . Then Samuel said to Jesse , " Yahweh has not chosen any of these . "
यिशैले तिनका सातै जना छोराहरूलाई शमूएलको सामु हिंड्न लगाए । शमूएलले यिशैलाई भने , " परमप्रभुले यिनीहरू कुनैलाई पनि चुन्‍नुभएको छैन । "

Then Samuel said to Jesse , " Are all of your sons here ? " He replied , " There remains yet the youngest , but he is tending the sheep . " Samuel said to Jesse , " Send and get him ; for we will not sit down until he comes here . "
तब शमूएलले यिशैलाई भने , " के तपाईंका छोराहरू सबै जना यहाँ नै छन् ? " तिनले जवाफ दिए , " अझै कान्छो बाँकी नै छ , तर उसले भेडाको गोठाला गरिरहेको छ । " शमूएलले यिशैलाई भने , " कसैलाई पठाउनुहोस् र तिनलाई झिकाउनुहोस् । तिनी यहाँ नआएसम्म , हामी बस्‍नेछैनौं । "

Jesse sent and brought him in . Now this son was ruddy and had beautiful eyes and a handsome appearance . Yahweh said , " Arise , anoint him ; for he is the one . "
यिशैले कसैलाई पठाए र तिनलाई ल्याए । यो छोराको राता गाला , सुन्दर आँखा र सुन्दर स्वरूप थियो । परमप्रभुले भन्‍नुभयो , " उठ् , त्यसलाई अभिषेक गर् । किनभने यही नै हो । "

Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the middle of his brothers . The Spirit of Yahweh rushed on David from that day forward . Then Samuel rose up and went to Ramah .
अनि शमूएलले तेल भएको सीङ् लिए र तिनलाई आफ्‍ना दाजुहरूका माझमा अभिषेक गरे । त्यस दिनदेखि परमप्रभुको आत्मा दाऊदमाथि आउनुभयो । त्यसपछि शमूएल उठे र रामातिर गए ।

Now the Spirit of Yahweh left Saul , and a harmful spirit from Yahweh troubled him instead .
परमप्रभुको आत्माले शाऊललाई छोड्नुभयो र परमप्रभुको हानिकारक आत्माले तिनलाई दुःख दियो ।

Saul 's servants said to him , " Look , a harmful spirit from God troubles you .
शाऊलका सेवकहरूले तिनलाई भने , " हे्र्नुहोस् , परमप्रभुको हानिकारक आत्माले तपाईंलाई दुःख दिन्छ ।

Let our master now command your servants who are before you to look for a man who is a skillful player on the harp . Then when the harmful spirit from God is on you , he will play it and you will be well . "
तपाईंको सामु भएका सेवकहरूलाई कोही वीणा बजाउन निपुण व्यक्‍तिलाई खोज्‍न हाम्रो मालिकले आज्ञा गर्नुहोस् । जब परमप्रभुको हानिकारक आत्मा तपाईंमाथि आउँछ , त्यसले वीणा बजाउनेछ , र तपाईं ठीक हुनुहुनेछ । "

Saul said to his servants , " Find⟡ me a man that can play well and bring him to me . "
शाऊलले तिनका सेवकहरूलाई भने , " बजाउन निपुण एक जना मानिस मेरो निम्ति खोज र त्यसलाई मकहाँ ल्याऊ । "

Then one of the young men answered , and said , " I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite , who is skillful in playing , a strong , courageous man , a man of war , one prudent in speech , a handsome man ; and Yahweh is with him . "
जवानहरूमध्ये एक जनाले जवाफ दिए , " मैले बेथलेहमका यिशैका छोरा बजाउनमा निपुण , बलियो , साहसी , लडाकु , बोलीवचनमा चतुर , सुन्‍दर मानिस देखेको छु । अनि परमप्रभु तिनीसँग हुनुहुन्छ । "

So Saul sent messengers to Jesse , and said , " Send me your son David , who is with the sheep . "
त्यसैले शाऊलले यिशैकहाँ दूतहरू पठाए र भने , " भेडाहरूसँग भएको तिम्रो छोरा दाऊदलाई मकहाँ पठाऊ । "

Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread , a container of wine , and a young goat , and sent them with his son David to Saul .
यिशैले रोटी , दाखमद्यको भाँडो , एउटा पाठोलाई गधामा बोकाए र आफ्‍नो छोरा दाऊदसँगै ती शाऊलकहाँ पठाए ।

Then David came to Saul and entered his service . Saul loved him greatly , and he became his armor bearer .
तब दाऊद शाऊलकहाँ आए र तिनको सेवामा प्रवेश गरे । शाऊलले तिनलाई धेरै प्रेम गरे र तिनी उनको हतियार बोक्‍ने बने ।

Saul sent to Jesse , saying , " Let David stand before me , for he has found favor in my eyes . "
" दाऊद मेरो सामु खडा रहोस् , किनभने उसले मेरो दृष्‍टिमा निगाह पाएको छ " भन्‍ने सामाचार शाऊलले यिशैलाई पठाए ।

Whenever the harmful spirit from God was upon Saul , David took the harp and played it . So Saul would be refreshed and well , and the harmful spirit would depart from him .
जब - जब शाऊलमाथि परमेश्‍वरको हानिकारक आत्मा आउँथ्यो , दाऊदले वीणा लिन्थे र त्‍यो बजाउँथे । यसरी शाऊल पुनः ताजा र सञ्‍चो हुन्थे , र हानिकारक आत्माले तिनीलाई छोड्‍थ्‍यो ।
