They told David , " Look , the Philistines are fighting against Keilah and are robbing the threshing floors . "
तिनीहरूले दाऊदलाई भने , " हेर्नुहोस् , पलिश्तीहरूले कीलाह विरुद्ध लडिरहेका छन् र अन्‍नका खलाहरू लूटिरहेका छन् । "

So David prayed to Yahweh for help and asked him , " Should I go and attack these Philistines ? " Yahweh said to David , " Go and attack the Philistines and save Keilah . "
त्यसैले दाऊदले परमप्रभुसँग सहायताको निम्ति प्रार्थना गरे र उहाँलाई भने , " के म जाऊँ र पलिश्‍तीहरूलाई आक्रमण गरूँ ? " परमप्रभुले दाऊदलाई भन्‍नुभयो , " जा , पलिश्तीहरूलाई आक्रमण गर् र कीलाहलाई बचा । "

David 's men said to him , " See , we are afraid here in Judah . How much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines ? "
दाऊदका मानिसहरूले तिनलाई भने , " हे्र्नुहोस् , हामी यहाँ यहूदामा डराएका छौं । हामी कीलाहमा पलिश्तीहरूका फौजको विरुद्धमा गयौं भने झन् कति धेरै डराउनेछौं ?

Then David prayed to Yahweh for help yet again . Yahweh answered him , " Arise , go down to Keilah . For I will give you victory over the Philistines . "
तब दाऊदले परमप्रभुसँग सहायताको निम्ति फेरि प्रार्थना गरे । परमप्रभुले तिनलाई भन्‍नुभयो , " उठ् , तल कीलाहमा जा । किनकि म तँलाई पलिश्तीहरूमाथि विजय दिनेछु । "

David and his men went to Keilah and fought with the Philistines . He led away their cattle and struck them with a great slaughter . So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah .
दाऊद र तिनका मानिसहरू कीलाहमा गए र पलिश्तीहरूसँग लडे । तिनले उनीहरूका गाईवस्तुहरू लगे र ठुलो संहारसहित तिनीहरूलाई प्रहार गरे । यसरी दाऊदले कीलाहका बासिन्दाहरूलाई बचाए ।

When Abiathar son of Ahimelech had fled to David at Keilah , he came⟡ down with an ephod in his hand .
जब अहीमेलेकका छोरा अबीयाथार भागेर कीलाहमा दाऊदकहाँ जाँदा , तिनी एपोदसहित तल आएका थिए ।

Saul was told that David had gone to Keilah . Saul said , " God has given him into my hand . For he is shut in because he has entered a city that has gates and bars . "
दाऊद कीलाहमा गएका थिए भनी शाऊललाई भनियो । शाऊलले भने , " परमेश्‍वरले उसलाई मेरो हातमा दिनुभएको छ । किनकि ऊ थुनिएको छ , किनभने ढोकाहरू र बारहरू भएको सहरमा ऊ पसेको छ

Saul summoned all his forces for battle , to go down to Keilah , to besiege David and his men .
युद्धको निम्ति तल कीलाहमा जान , दाऊद र तिनका मानिसहरूलाई घेरा हाल्न शाऊलले आफ्‍ना सबै फौजलाई बोलाए ।

David knew⟡ that Saul was plotting harm against him . He said to Abiathar the priest , " Bring the ephod here . "
शाऊलले आफ्‍नो विरुद्धमा षड्यान्त्र गरिरहेका कुरा दाऊदलाई थाहा थियो । तिनले पुजारी अबीयाथारलाई भने , " एपोद यहाँ ल्याऊ । "

Then David said , " Yahweh , the God of Israel , your servant has indeed heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah , to destroy the city for my sake .
तब दाऊदले भने , " हे परमप्रभु , इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वर , शाऊल मेरो कारणले सहरलाई नाश पार्न कीलाहमा आउन खोज्छ भन्‍ने तपाईंको दासले सुनेको छ ।

Will the men of Keilah surrender me into his hand ? Will Saul come down , as your servant has heard ? Yahweh , the God of Israel , I beg you , please tell your servant . " Yahweh said , " He will come down . "
के कीलाहका मानिसहरूले मलाई तिनको हातमा सुम्‍पनेछन् ? के तपाईंको दासले सुनेजस्तै शाऊल तल आउनेछन् ? हे परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वर , म तपाईंसँग बिन्ती गर्छु , कृपया आफ्‍नो दासलाई भन्‍नुहोस् । " परमप्रभुले भन्‍नुभयो , " ऊ तल आउनेछ । "

Then David said , " Will the men of Keilah surrender me and my men into the hand of Saul ? " Yahweh said , " They will surrender you . "
तब दाऊदले भने , " के कीलाहका मानिसहरूले मलाई र मेरा मानिसहरूलाई शाऊलको हातमा सुम्पनेछन् ? " परमप्रभुले भन्‍नुभयो , " तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई सुम्‍पनेछन् । "

Then David and his men , who were about six hundred , got up and went away from Keilah , and they went from place to place . It was told Saul that David had escaped from Keilah , and he stopped the pursuit .
तब दाऊद र तिनीसँग भएका करिब छ सय जना मानिसहरू उठे र कीलाहबाट टाढा गए र तिनीहरू ठाउँ - ठाउँमा गए । दाऊद कीलाहबाट उम्के भनी शाऊललाई भनियो र तिनलले पिछा गर्न छोडे ।

David stayed in the strongholds in the wilderness , in the hill country in the wilderness of Ziph . Saul looked for him every day , but God did not give him into his hand .
दाऊद उजाड-स्‍थान भएका किल्लाहरूमा , जीपको उजाड-स्‍थानको पडाडी देशमा बसे । शाऊलले तिनलाई हरेक दिन खोजे , तर परमेश्‍वरले तिनलाई उनको हातमा दिनुभएन ।

David saw that Saul had come out to seek his life ; now David was in the wilderness of Ziph at Horesh .
शाऊलले तिनको ज्यान खोज्दै आएका कुरा दाऊदले देखे । यति बेला दाऊद जीपमा भएको होरेशको उजाड-स्‍थान थिए ।

Then Jonathan , Saul 's son , got up and went to David at Horesh , and strengthened his hand in God .
तब शाऊलका छोरा जोनाथन उठे र होरेशमा दाऊदकहाँ गए र परमेश्‍वरमा तिनको हातलाई बलियो बनाए ।

He said to him , " Do not be afraid . For the hand of Saul my father will not find⟡ you . You will be king over Israel , and I will be next to you . Saul my father also knows this . "
उनले तिनलाई भने , " नडराउनुहोस् । किनकि मेरा बुबा शाऊलका हातले तपाईंलाई भेट्टाउनेछैन । तपाईं इस्राएलको राजा हुनुहुनेछ र म तपाईंको दोस्रो हुनेछु । मेरा बुबा शाऊललाई पनि यो कुरा थाहा छ । "

They made a covenant before Yahweh . David remained at Horesh , and Jonathan went home .
तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुको सामु करार गरे । दाऊद होरेशमा नै रहे र जोनाथन घर गए ।

Then Ziphites came to Saul at Gibeah and said , " Is not David hiding among us in the strongholds at Horesh , on the hill of Hakilah , which is south of Jeshimon ?
त्यसपछि जीपीहरू गिबामा शाऊलकहाँ आए र भने , " के दाऊद यशीमोनको दक्षिणतिरका हकीला पहाडको होरेशका किल्लाहरू लुकिरहेका छैन र ?

Now come down , king ! According to your desire , come down ! Our part will be to surrender him into the king 's hand . "
अब हे राजा तल आउनुहोस् , तपाईंको इच्छाअनुसार तल आउनुहोस् । हाम्रो काम भनेको तिनलाई राजाको हातमा सुम्‍पने हुनेछ । "

Saul said , " May you be blessed by Yahweh . For you have had compassion on me .

जाओ , अझै पक्‍का गर । तिनको लुक्‍ने ठाउँ कहाँ छ अनि त्यहाँ उसलाई कसले देखेको हो थाहा पाओ र पत्ता लगाओ । ऊ धेरै चतुर छ भनी मलाई भनिएको छ ।

So look , and learn all of the places where he hides himself . Come back to me with sure information , and then I will return with you . If he is in the land , I will search him out among all the thousands of Judah . "
त्यसैले हेर र उसले आफूलाई कहाँ लुकाउँछ सबै ठाउँ पत्ता लगाओ । पक्‍का सूचना लिएर मकहाँ फर्की आओ , अनि त्‍यसपछि तिमीहरूसँगै म फर्केर जानेछु । ऊ त्यस ठाउँमा छ भने , म उसलाई हजारौं यहूदाका माझमा सबैतिर खोज्‍नेछु । "

Then they rose up and went to Ziph ahead of Saul . Now David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon , in the Arabah to the south of Jeshimon .
तब तिनीहरू उठे र शाऊलभन्दा अगि जीपमा गए । दाऊद र तिनीसँग भएका मानिसहरू यशीमोनको दक्षिणतिरको अराबाको माओनको उजाड-स्‍थानमा थिए ।

Saul and his men went to seek him . But David was told of it , so he went down to a rocky⟡ hill and lived in the wilderness of Maon . When Saul heard it , he chased David in the wilderness of Maon .
शाऊल र उनका मानिसहरू तिनलाई खोज्‍न गए । तर दाऊदलाई यो कुरा भनिएको थियो , त्यसैले तिनी तल चट्टानको पहाडतिर गए र माओनको उजाड-स्‍थानमा बसे । जब शाऊलले त्‍यो कुरा सुने , तब तिनले दाऊदलाई माओनको उजाड-स्‍थानमा लखेटे ।

Saul went on one side of the mountain , and David and his men were going on the other side of the mountain . David hurried to get away from Saul . As Saul and his men were surrounding David and his men to take them ,
शाऊल पहाडको एकपट्टि हिंडे र दाऊद र तिनका मानिसहरू पहाडको अर्कोपट्टि हिंडिरहेका थिए । शाऊलबाट टाढा जानलाई दाऊद हतारिए । जसै शाऊल र तिनका मानिसहरूले दाऊद र तिनका मानिसहरूलाई समात्‍न घेरा लगाउँदै थिए ,

a messenger came to Saul and said , " Hurry and come , for the Philistines have made a raid against the land . "
एक जना दूत शाऊलकहाँ आयो र भन्‍यो , " छिटो गर्नुहोस् र आउनुहोस् , किनकि पलिश्‍तीहरूले देश लुटेका छन् । "

So Saul returned from pursuing David and went against the Philistines . Therefore that place was called the Rock of Escape .
त्यसैले शाऊल दाउदलाई खेद्‍न छोडेर फर्के र पलिश्तीहरूका विरुद्ध लड्न गए । यसकारण त्यस ठाउँलाई बाँचेको चट्टान भनियो ।
