परमेश्‍वरका आत्‍मा ओदेदका छोरा अजर्याहमाथि आउनुभयो ।

तिनी आसालाई भेट गर्न गए र तिनलाई भने , “ ए आसा , यहूदा र बेन्‍यामीनका सबै जना , मेरा कुरा सुन्‍नुहोस् : जब तपाईंहरू परमप्रभुसँग रहनुहुन्छ , तब उहाँ पनि तपाईंहरूसँग हुनुहुन्‍छ । तपाईंहरूले उहाँलाई खोज्नुभयो भने , तपाईंहरूले उहाँलाई भेट्टाउनुहुनेछ । तर तपाईंहरूले उहाँलाई त्‍याग्‍नुभयो भने उहाँले पनि तपाईंहरूलाई त्‍याग्‍नुहुनेछ ।

अब धेरै समयसम्‍म इस्राएल साँचो परमेश्‍वर , सिकाउने पुजारी र व्‍यवस्‍थाविना थियो ।

तिनीहरू टुक्रा - टुक्रा पारिए , राष्‍ट्रको विरूद्ध राष्‍ट्र , र सहरको विरूद्ध सहर , किनकि परमेश्‍वरले तिनीहरूलाई सबै किसिमका दु:खले समस्‍यामा पार्नुभयो ।

When Asa heard these words , the prophecy⟡ of Oded the prophet , he took courage and drove away the disgusting things from all the land of Judah and Benjamin , and from the cities that he had captured from the hill country of Ephraim , and he rebuilt⟡ Yahweh 's altar , which was in front of the portico of Yahweh 's house .
जब आसाले यी कुरा , ओदेदका छोरा अजर्याह अगमवक्ताका अगमवाणी सुने , तब तिनको साहस बढ्यो , र यहूदा र बेन्‍यामीनका सारा देश र तिनले कब्‍जा गरेका एफ्राइमका पहाडी देशका सहरहरूबाट घिनलाग्‍दा कुराहरू सबै हटाइदिए , र तिनले परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिरका दलानको अगि भएको परमप्रभुको वेदी पनि मरम्‍मत गरे ।

He gathered all Judah and Benjamin , and those who stayed with them — people from of Ephraim and Manasseh , and from Simeon . For they came from Israel to him in great numbers , when they saw that Yahweh his God was with him .
तिनले सारा यहूदा र बेन्‍यामीन र एफ्राइम , मनश्‍शे र शिमियोनबाट तिनीहरूसँग बस्‍नेहरूलाई भेला गरे । किनभने परमप्रभु तिनका परमेश्‍वर तिनीसँग हुनुभएको तिनीहरूले देखेर इस्राएलबाट तिनीहरू धेरै सङ्‍ख्‍यामा तिनीकहाँ आए ।

So they gathered together at Jerusalem in the third month , in the fifteenth year of Asa 's reign .
यसैले आसाका राजकालको पन्‍ध्रौँ वर्षको तेस्रो महिनामा तिनीहरू यरूशलेममा एकसाथ भेला भए ।

तिनीहरू आफ्‍ना सारा हृदय र आफ्‍ना सारा प्राणले परमप्रभु आफ्‍ना पुर्खाका परमेश्‍वरको खोजी गर्नलाई करार बाँधे ।

अनि परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वरलाई नखोज्‍ने जोसुकैलाई मारिनुपर्छ भन्‍ने कुरामा तिनीहरूले सहमती गरेः चाहे त्यो व्यक्ति सानो होस् वा ठूलो होस् , चाहे पुरुष होस् वा स्‍त्री होस् ।

All Judah rejoiced at the oath , for they had sworn with all their heart , and they sought God with their whole desire , and he was found⟡ by them . Yahweh gave them peace all around them .
सारा यहूदा शपथमा आनन्‍दित भयो , किनकि तिनीहरूले आफ्‍ना पूरा हृदयले शपथ खाएका थिए , र तिनीहरूले आफ्‍ना सारा इच्‍छाले परमेश्‍वरलाई खोजे , र तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई पाउन सके । तिनीहरूका वरिपरि सबैतिरबाट परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूलाई शान्ति दिनुभयो ।

He also removed Maacah , his grandmother , from being queen , because she had made a disgusting figure out of an Asherah pole . Asa cut down the disgusting figure , ground it to dust and burned it at the brook Kidron .
तिनले आफ्‍नी हजुरआमा माकालाई पनि राजमाताको पदबाट हटाइदिए , किनभने तिनले अशेरा देवीको खम्‍बोबाट घिनलाग्‍दो मूर्ति बनाएकी थिइन् । आसाले त्‍यो घिनलाग्दो मूर्तिलाई काटेर ढालिदिए , त्‍यसलाई धुलोपिठो पारे र किद्रोन खोल्‍सामा जलाइदिए ।

But the high places were not taken out of Israel . Nevertheless , Asa 's heart was completely devoted all his days .
तर डाँडाहरूमा भएका अल्‍गा थानहरू इस्राएलबाट हटाइएनन् । तापनि आसाको जीवनकालभरि तिनको हृदय विश्‍वासयोग्य रहिरह्यो ।
