2CH 28:1     Alignment score: 0.341
Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign , and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem . He did not do what was right in the eyes of Yahweh , as David his ancestor had done .
आहाजले राज्य गर्न सुरु गर्दा तिनी बिस वर्षका थिए , र तिनले यरूशलेममा सोह्र वर्ष राज्‍य गरे । तिनले आफ्‍ना पुर्खा दाऊदले गरेझैं परमप्रभुको दृष्‍टिमा जे असल थियो सो गरेनन् ।

Instead , he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel ; he also made cast metal figures for the Baals .
बरू , तिनी पनि इस्राएलका राजाहरूका चालमा हिंडे । तिनले बाल देवताहरूका निम्‍ति ढलौटे मूर्तिहरू बनाए ।

यसको साथै तिनले बेन - हिन्‍नोमको बेसीमा बलिदानहरू पनि चढाए र इस्राएलको सामुन्‍नेबाट परमप्रभुले देशबाट निकाल्‍नुभएको मानिसहरूका मूर्ति पुजाका घिनलाग्‍दा चालमा हिंडेर तिनले आफ्‍ना छोराछोरीलाई आगोबाट हिंड्न लगाए ।

तिनले अल्‍गा ठाउँहरू र डाँडाका टाकुराहरू र हरेक हरिया रुखमुनि बलिदानहरू चढाए र धूप बाले ।

Therefore Yahweh the God of Ahaz gave him into the hand of the king of Aram . The Arameans defeated him and carried away from him a great crowd of prisoners , bringing them to Damascus . Ahaz was also given into the hand of the king of Israel who defeated him in a great slaughter .
यसकारण परमप्रभु आहाजका परमेश्‍वरले तिनलाई अरामका राजाको हातमा सुम्पिदिनुभयो । अरामीहरूले तिनलाई परास्‍त गरे र तिनका मानिसमध्‍ये धेरै जनालाई कैद गरेर दमस्‍कसमा लगे । आहाज इस्राएलका राजाको हातमा पनि परे , र ती राजाले तिनलाई ठुलो संहारका साथ पराजित गरे ।

For Pekah son of Remaliah in one day killed 120,000 soldiers in Judah and all of them were powerful men , because they had forsaken Yahweh the God of their ancestors .
रमल्‍याहका छोरा पेकहले एकै दिनमा यहूदाका एक लाख बिस हजार सिपाहीलाई मारे , र ती सबै जना शक्तिशाली योद्धा थिए , किनभने तिनीहरूले परमप्रभु आफ्‍ना पुर्खाहरूका परमेश्‍वरलाई त्‍यागेका थिए ।

Zicri⟡ , a powerful man from Ephraim , killed Maaseiah the king 's son , Azrikam , the official⟡ over the palace , and Elkanah , who was next to the king .
जिक्री नामको एक जना वीर एफ्राइमीले राजाका छोरा मासेयाह र राजाका महलका रेखदेख गर्ने अधिकारी अज्रीकाम र राजापछिका मुख्‍य व्यक्ति एल्‍कानालाई मारे ।

The army of Israel took captive from their relatives 200,000 wives , sons , and daughters . They also took much plunder , which they carried back to Samaria .
तिनीहरूका आफन्तबाट दुई लाख पत्‍नीहरू , छोराहरू र छोरीहरूलाई इस्राएलका फौजले कैद गरेर लगे । तिनीहरूले धेरै लूटका मालहरू पनि लगे , जुन तिनीहरूले सामरियामा ल्‍याए ।

But a prophet of Yahweh was there , his name was Oded . He went out to meet the army coming into Samaria . He said to them , " Because Yahweh , the God of your ancestors , was angry with Judah , he gave them into your hand . But you have slaughtered them in a rage that reached up to heaven .
तर त्‍यहाँ ओदेद नामका परमप्रभुका एक अगमवक्ता थिए । तिनी सामरियामा फर्किरहेको फौजलाई भेट्न गए । तिनले तिनीहरूलाई भने , “ परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका पुर्खाहरूका परमेश्‍वर यहूदासँग रिसाउनुभएको हुनाले तिनीहरूलाई तिमीहरूका हातमा उहाँले सुम्‍पिदिनुभयो । तर तिमीहरूले चाहिं रीसमा तिनीहरूको संहार गर्‍यौ , जो स्वर्गसम्मै पुग्यो ।

Now you intend to keep the men and women⟡ of Judah and Jerusalem as your slaves . But are you not guilty of sins of your own against Yahweh your God ?
अब तिमीहरू यहूदा र यरूशलेमका पुरुष र स्‍त्री दुवैलाई दास - दासी बनाउने इच्‍छा गर्छौ । तर त्‍यसो गर्दा के तिमीहरू पनि परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरको सामु आफ्नो पापको दोषी हुँदैनौ ?

Now then , listen to me : Send⟡ the prisoners back , those whom you have taken of your own brothers , for Yahweh 's fierce wrath is on you . "
यसैले अब मेरा कुरा सुनः आफ्‍ना दाजुभाइबाट तिमीहरूले कैद गरेर ल्‍याएकाहरूलाई फर्काइदेओ , किनकि परमप्रभुको डरलाग्दो क्रोध तिमीहरूमाथि छ । ”

तब एफ्राइमका कुनै अगुवाहरू , अर्थात् येहोहानानका छोरा अजर्याह , मशिल्‍लेमोतका छोरा बेरेक्‍याह , शल्‍लूमका छोरा येहिजक्‍याह र हद्‌लैका छोरा अमासा युद्धबाट फर्केकाहरूको विरुद्धमा खडा भए ।

They said to them , " You must not bring the prisoners here , for you intend something that will bring on us sin against Yahweh , to add to our sins and trespasses , for our trespass is great , and there is fierce wrath against Israel . "
तिनीहरूले उनीहरूलाई भने , “ यी कैदीहरूलाई तिमीहरूले यहाँ ल्‍याउनुहुन्‍न , किनकि तिमीहरूले जे विचार गरिरहेका छौ त्‍यसले गर्दा हामीहरूमा परमप्रभुको विरुद्धमा पाप ल्याउनेछ , हाम्रा पाप र दोष थप्‍नेछ , किनकि हाम्रा दोषहरू ठुला छन् र इस्राएलको विरुद्धमा भयानक क्रोध आइपरेको छ । ”

यसकारण योद्धाहरूले कैदीहरू र लुटेका मालहरू अगुवाहरू र सबै समुदायका उपस्‍थितिमा छोडिदिए ।

The men who were assigned by name got up and took the prisoners , and clothed all who were naked among them with the plunder . They clothed them and gave them sandals . They gave them food to eat and drink . They treated their wounds and put the weak ones on donkeys . They took them back to their families in Jericho , ( called the City of Palms ) . Then they returned to Samaria .
नाम तोकेर जिम्‍मेवारी पाएका मानिसहरू खडा भए र कैदीहरूलाई लगेर लुटेका मालबाट सबै नाङ्गा मानिसहरूलाई लुगा दिए । तिनीहरूलाई लुगा लगाइदिए र तिनीहरूलाई र जुत्ता दिए । तिनीहरूले उनीहरूलाई खान र पानी दिए । तिनीहरूले उनीहरूका घाउहरूको उपचार गरिदिए र कमजोरहरूलाई गधामा चढाए । तिनीहरूले उनीहरूलाई यरीहोमा ( खजूरका रुखहरूको सहरमा ) आफ्ना आफन्तहरूकहाँ लगे । त्‍यसपछि तिनीहरू सामरिया फर्के ।

At that time King Ahaz sent messengers to the kings of Assyria to ask them to help him .
त्‍यस बेला राजा आहाजले अश्‍शूरका राजाकहाँ सहायताको निम्ति दूतहरू पठाए ।

पलिश्‍तीहरूले पनि पहाड र यहूदाको मैदानका र नेगेवका सहरहरूमा आक्रमण गरे । उनीहरूले बेथशेमेश , अय्‍यालोन र गदेरोत , अनि सोखो , तिम्‍ना र गिम्‍जो , तिनका बस्‍तीहरू कब्‍जा गरे । तिनीहरूले ती ठाउँमा बसोबास गर्न गए ।

For Yahweh brought Judah low because of Ahaz , king of Israel ; for he had acted wickedly in Judah and had sinned against Yahweh very heavily .
किनकि इस्राएलका राजा आहाजको कारणले परमप्रभुले यहूदालाई तल होच्‍याउनुभयो । किनकि यहूदामा तिनले दुष्‍टतापूर्वक काम गरेका थिए र परमप्रभुको विरुद्ध धेरै पाप गरेका थिए ।

Tiglath - Pileser , king of Assyria , came to him and troubled him instead of strengthening him .
अश्‍शूरका राजा तिग्‍लत - पिलेसेर तिनीकहाँ आए र तिनलाई सहायता दिनुको साटोमा झन् तिनलाई कष्‍ट दिए ।

For Ahaz plundered the house of Yahweh and the houses of the king and the leaders , to give the valuable things to the kings of Assyria . But doing this⟡ did not benefit him .
किनकि आहाजले अश्‍शूरका राजालाई दिनको निम्ति परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिर , राजा र भारदारहरूका महलहरू लुटे । तर यसले तिनलाई केही फाइदा भएन ।

This⟡ same King Ahaz sinned even more against Yahweh in his time of suffering .
तिनै राजा आहाजले आफ्‍नो कष्‍टको समयमा परमप्रभुको विरुद्ध झन् धेरै पाप गरे ।

For he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus , gods that had defeated him . He said , " Because the gods of the kings of Aram helped them , I will sacrifice to them , so that they might help me . " But they were the ruin of him and of all Israel .
किनकि तिनले आफूलाई परास्‍त गर्ने दमस्‍कसका देवताहरूलाई बलिदान चढाए । तिनले भने , “ अरामका राजाहरूका देवताहरूले उनीहरूलाई सहायता गरेका हुनाले म तिनीहरूलाई बलिदान चढाउनेछु , ताकि तिनीहरूले मलाई सहायता गरुन् । ” तर तिनीहरू नै तिनको र सारा इस्राएलको पतनको कारण बने ।

Ahaz gathered together the furnishings of the house of God and cut them to pieces . He shut the doors of the house of Yahweh and he made for himself altars in every corner of Jerusalem .
आहाजले परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिरका भाँडाकुँडाहरू जम्‍मा गरे र तिनलाई टुक्राटुक्रा बनाए । तिनले परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिरका ढोकाहरू पनि बन्‍द गरिदिए र तिनले यरूशलेमका हरेक कुनामा आफ्ना निम्ति वेदीहरू बनाए ।

In every city of Judah he made high places to burn sacrifices⟡ to other gods . He provoked Yahweh , the God of his ancestors , to anger .
यहूदाका हरेक सहरमा अरू देवतालाई बलिदान चढाउनका निम्‍ति डाँडाहरूका थानहरू बनाए । तिनले परमप्रभु आफ्‍ना पुर्खाहरूका परमेश्‍वरलाई क्रोधित तुल्‍याए ।

Ahaz slept with his ancestors , and they buried him in the city , in Jerusalem , but they did not bring him into the tombs of the kings of Israel . Hezekiah , his son , became king in his place .
आहाज आफ्‍ना पुर्खारूसित सुते , र तिनीहरूले उनलाई यरूशलेम सहरमा गाडे , तर तिनीहरूले तिनलाई इस्राएलका राजाहरूका चिहानमा गाडेनन् । तिनको ठाउँमा तिनका छोरा हिजकिया राजा भए ।
