Jehoshaphat the king of Judah safely returned to his house in Jerusalem .
यहूदाका राजा यहोशापात सुरक्षासाथ यरूशलेमको आफ्नो दरवार फर्के ।

Then Jehu son of Hanani , the seer , went out to meet him and said to King Jehoshaphat , " Should you be helping the wicked ? Should you be loving those who hate Yahweh ? For this deed , anger from Yahweh is on you .
तब हनानीका छोरा दर्शी येहू तिनलाई भेट्‌न आए र यहोशापात राजालाई भने , “ के दुष्‍टलाई तपाईंले सहायता गर्नुपर्छ र ? के परमप्रभुलाई घृणा गर्नेहरूलाई तपाईंले प्रेम गर्नुपर्छ र ? यस कामको कारणले गर्दा परमप्रभुको क्रोध तपाईंमाथि परेको छ ।

तापनि तपाईंमा केही असल कुरा छन् , किनभने तपाईंले अशेराका खम्बाहरूलाई देशबाट हटाउनुभएको छ , र तपाईंले आफ्नो हृदय परमप्रभुलाई खोज्‍नमा लाउनुभएको छ । ”

Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem ; and he went out again among the people from Beersheba to the hill country of Ephraim and brought them back to Yahweh , the God of their fathers .
यहोशापातको यरूशलेममा बसे । अनि तिनी फेरि बेर्शेबादेखि एफ्राइमको पहाडी देशमा मानिसहरूका माझमा गए र तिनीहरूलाई परमप्रभु आफ्‍ना पुर्खाहरूका परमेश्‍वरकहाँ फर्काएर ल्‍याए ।

यहूदाका किल्लाबन्‍दी गरिएका सबै सहरमा तिनले न्‍यायकर्ताहरू नियुक्त गरे ।

Now then , let the fear of Yahweh be upon you . Be careful when you judge , for there is no iniquity with Yahweh our God , nor is there any favoritism or bribe taking . "
यसैले अब , परमप्रभुको भय तिमीहरूमा रहोस् । न्याय गर्दा होसियार होओ , किनकि परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्‍वरमा अधर्म हुँदैन , नत उहाँमा पक्षपात र घूस लिने काम नै हुन्‍छ । ”

Moreover , in Jerusalem Jehoshaphat appointed some of the Levites and the priests , and some of the heads of the ancestral houses of Israel , for carrying out judgment for Yahweh , and for the sake of disputes . They lived in Jerusalem .
यसबाहेक यहोशापातले यरूशलेममा केही लेवी र पुजारी , र इस्राएलका पुर्ख्‍यौली घरानाका केही अगुवाहरूलाई परमप्रभुको न्याय कायम राख्‍न र झगडाहरू मिलउन नियुक्त गरे । तिनीहरू यरूशलेममा बसे ।

He instructed them , saying , " You must serve in reverence for Yahweh , faithfully , and with your whole heart .
तिनले उनीहरूलाई यसो भनेर निर्देशन दिए , “ तिमीहरूले सधैँ परमेश्‍वरको भय राखेर विश्‍वाससित र आफ्‍ना सारा हृदयले काम गर्नुपर्छ ।

Whenever any dispute comes to you from your brothers who live in their cities , whether concerning bloodshed , whether about laws and commands , statutes or decrees , you must warn them , so they do not become guilty before Yahweh , or anger will come toward you and toward your brothers . You shall do this and you will not be guilty .
जब आफ्‍ना सहरमा बस्‍ने तिमीहरूका दाजुभाइबाट तिमीहरूका सामु कुनै पनि मुद्दा आउँछन् , चाहे ती रक्तपातसम्‍बन्‍धी होउन् , वा व्‍यवस्‍था र आज्ञा , विधिहरू वा आदेशहरूका विरुद्धमा होउन् , तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूलाई चेताउनी दिनू , ताकि तिनीहरू परमप्रभुको अगि दोषी नठहरिऊन् , नत्रता तिमीहरू र तिमीहरूका दाजुभाइमा क्रोध आइपर्ने छ । तिमीहरूले यसो गर्नू र तिमीहरू सबै दोषी ठहरिने छैनौ ।

See , Amariah the chief priest is over you in all the matters of Yahweh . Zebadiah son of Ishmael , the leader of the house of Judah , is in charge of all the matters of the king . Also , the Levites will be officers serving you . Be strong and obey your instructions , and may Yahweh be with those who are good . "
हेर , परमप्रभुका सबै विषयमा मुख्‍य पुजारी अमर्याह तिमीहरूमाथि छन् । राजा सम्‍बन्‍धमा सबै विषयमा यहूदाका घरानाका अगुवा इश्‍माएलका छोरा जबदियाह निरीक्षक छन् । साथै लेवीहरूले अधिकारीहरूका रूपमा तिमीहरूका सेवा गर्नेछन् । बलिया होओ र तिमीहरूलाई दिइएका निर्देशनहरू पालना गर , र असल गर्नेहरूका साथमा परमप्रभु रनुभएको होस् । ”
