त्यो आफ्नो घरबाट गइसकेपछि त्यो कसैकी पत्‍नी हुन सक्छे ।

त्यसको पहिलेको पति अर्थात् उसलाई घरबाट पठाउने पतिले त्यस स्‍त्री अशुद्ध भएपछि त्यसलाई आफ्नी पत्‍नी हुनलाई नलिन पनि सक्छ । किनकि त्यसो गर्नु परमप्रभुको लागि घृणित कुरो हो । तिमीहरूले परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूलाई सम्पत्तिको रूपमा दिन लाग्‍नुभएको देशलाई दोषी नबनाओ ।

You must not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy , whether he is of your fellow Israelites , or of the foreigners⟡ who are in your land within your city gates ;

Instead , you must call to mind that you were a slave in Egypt , and that Yahweh your God rescued you from there . Therefore I instruct you to obey this command .
