If you listen carefully to the voice of Yahweh your God so as to keep all his commandments that I am commanding you today , Yahweh your God will set you above all the other nations of the earth .
आज मैले तिमीहरूलाई दिएका परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरका सबै आज्ञा पालन गर्न उहाँको कुरा होसियारीपूर्वक सुन्यौ भने परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूलाई पृथ्वीका सबै जातिभन्दा उच्‍च बनाउनुहुने छ ।

परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई सङ्क्रामक रोग , ज्वरो , सूज , खडेरी , प्रचण्ड ताप , चिलाउने बतास र ढुसीले आक्रमण गर्नुहुने छ । तिमीहरू नष्‍ट नभएसम्म यी आइरहने छन् ।

परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई तिमीहरूका शत्रुहरूको सामु परास्त गर्नुहुने छ । तिमीहरू तिनीहरूको विरुद्धमा एउटा बाटो जाने छौ , तर तिनीहरूबाट सातवटा बाटा भएर भाग्‍ने छौ । तिमीहरू पृथ्वीका सबै राज्यमा धपाइने छौ ।

Your dead body will be food to all the birds of the heavens and to the beasts of the earth ; there will be no one to frighten them away .

परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई मिश्रका फोका , गिर्खा , पिला , चिलाउने रोगले आक्रमण गर्नुहुने छ जसबाट तिमीहरू निको हुन सक्दैनौ ।

Yahweh will attack you with madness , with blindness , and with mental confusion .
परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई पागलपन , अन्धोपन र मानसिक गोलमालले आक्रमण गर्नुहुने छ ।

Your ox will be slain before your eyes , but you will not eat its meat ; your donkey will be forcibly taken away from before you and will not be restored to you . Your sheep will be given to your enemies , and you will have no one to aid you .
तिमीहरूले दाखबारी लगाउने छौ , तर यसको फल खान पाउने छैनौ । तिमीहरूकै आँखाको अगि तिमीहरूको गोरुलाई मारिने छ , तर तिमीहरूले त्यसको मासु खान पाउने छैनौ । तिमीहरूकै आँखाको अगि तिमीहरूको गधालाई जबरजस्ती लगिने छ , र तिमीहरूले फिर्ता पाउने छैनौ । तिमीहरूको भेडा तिमीहरूका शत्रुहरूलाई दिइने छ , र तिमीहरूलाई सहायता गर्ने कोही हुने छैन ।

Your sons and your daughters will be given to other peoples ; your eyes will look for them the entire day , but will fail⟡ with longing for them . There will be no strength in your hand .

परमप्रभुले तिमीहरू र तिमीहरूले आफ्नो लागि रोजेका राजालाई तिमीहरू र तिमीहरूका पिता - पुर्खाहरूले नचिनेका जातिकहाँ धपाउनुहुने छ । त्यहाँ तिमीहरूले काठ र ढुङ्गाले बनेका देवताहरूलाई पुज्ने छौ ।

You will become a source of horror , a proverb , and a byword , among all the peoples where Yahweh will lead you away .
परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई सबै जातिको बिचमा धपाउनुहुने छ जहाँ तिमीहरू हेला , तिरस्कार र गिल्लाका पात्र बन्‍ने छौ ।

You will take much seed out into the field , but will gather little seed in , for the locusts will consume it .

You will plant vineyards⟡ and cultivate them , but you will neither drink any of the wine , nor even gather in the grapes , for worms will eat them .
तिमीहरूले दाखबारी लगाई त्यसको कटनी गर्ने छौ , तर तिमीहरूले दाखरस पिउन पाउने छैनौ , न त दाख नै जम्मा गर्न पाउने छौ किनकि किराहरूले ती खाइदिने छन् ।

You will have olive trees within all your territory , but you will not rub any of the oil on yourself , for your olive trees will drop their fruit .
तिमीहरूका इलाकाभरि तिमीहरूले भद्राक्षका रुखहरू लगाउने छौ , तर तिमीहरूले तेल निकाल्न पाउने छैनौ , किनकि तिमीहरूका भद्राक्षका रुखहरूको फल झर्ने छन् ।

You will have sons and daughters , but they will not remain yours , for they will go into captivity .

यी सबै श्राप तिमीहरूमाथि आइपर्ने छन् र तिमीहरू नष्‍ट नभएसम्म तिनले तिमीहरूको पिछा गर्ने छन् । उहाँले तिमीहरूलाई उहाँका आज्ञा र निर्देशनहरू पालन गर्न तिमीहरूले उहाँको कुरा नसुनेकाले यो हुने छ ।

These curses will be on you as signs and wonders , and on your descendants forever .

therefore will you serve the enemies that Yahweh will send⟡ against you ; you will serve them in hunger , in thirst⟡ , in nakedness , and in poverty . He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until he destroys you .
परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूका विरुद्धमा पठाउनुहुने शत्रुहरूको तिमीहरूले सेवा गर्ने छौ । तिमीहरूले भोक , तिर्खा , नग्‍नता र गरिबीमा तिनीहरूको सेवा गर्ने छौ । उहाँले तिमीहरूलाई नष्‍ट नगरुञ्‍जेलसम्म उहाँले तिमीहरूको काँधमा जुवा हालिदिनुहुने छ ।

Yahweh will bring a nation against you from far away , from the ends of the earth , like an eagle flies to its victim , a nation whose language you do not understand ;
परमप्रभुले धेरै टाढाबाट अर्थात् पृथ्वीको छेउबाट आफ्नो सिकारको लागि झम्टने गरुडझैँ तिमीहरूको विरुद्धमा एउटा जातिलाई ल्याउनुहुने छ जसको भाषा तिमीहरू बुझ्दैनौ ।

They will eat the young of your cattle and the fruit of your land until you are destroyed . They will leave for you no grain , new wine , or oil , no young of your cattle or of your flock , until they have caused you to perish .
तिमीहरू नष्‍ट नभएसम्म तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूका बाछा - बाछी र तिमीहरूको देशको फल खाने छन् । तिमीहरूलाई नष्‍ट नगरुञ्‍जेलसम्म तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूका लागि कुनै अन्‍न , नयाँ मद्य वा तेल वा बाछा - बाछी वा भेडा - बाख्रा छाड्ने छैनन् ।

The man who is tender and very delicate among you — he will be envious of his brother and his own dear wife , and of whatever children he has left .
तिमीहरूका बिचमा भएका कोमल र भद्र मानिसले पनि आफ्नै भाइ , आफ्नी प्यारी पत्‍नी र आफ्ना बाँकी रहेका बालबच्‍चालाई टिठ्याउने छैन ।

If you do not keep all the words of this⟡ law that are written in this book , so as to honor this⟡ glorious and fearful name , Yahweh your God ,

परमप्रभुले तिमीहरू र तिमीहरूका सन्तानमाथि डरलाग्दा विपत्तिहरू ल्याउनुहुने छ । ती लामो समयसम्म आउने भयानक डरलाग्दा र प्रचण्ड विपत्तिहरू हुने छन् ।

मिश्रमा जुन विपत्तिहरूदेखि तिमीहरू डराएका थियौ , उहाँले तिनै विपत्तिहरू तिमीहरूमाथि ल्याउनुहुने छ ।

Also every sickness and plague that is not written in the book of this law , those also Yahweh will bring on you until you are destroyed .
ती तिमीहरूमा टाँसिने छन् । यसको अतिरिक्त , तिमीहरू नष्‍ट नभएसम्म परमप्रभुले व्यवस्थाको यस पुस्तकमा नलेखिएका हरेक रोग र विपत्ति पनि तिमीहरूमाथि ल्याउनुहुने छ ।

तिमीहरूले परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरको कुरा नमानेकाले तिमीहरू आकाशका ताराहरूजत्तिकै सङ्ख्यामा धेरै भए तापनि तिमीहरूको सङ्ख्या थोरै हुने छ ।

As Yahweh once rejoiced over you in doing you good , and in multiplying you , so he will rejoice over you in making you perish and in destroying you . You will be plucked off the land that you are going into to possess .
