The word of Yahweh came to me , saying ,
परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो ,

" You , son of man — the Lord Yahweh says this to the land of Israel . " ' An end ! An end has come to the four borders of the land .
" ए मानिसको छोरो — इस्राएलको देशलाई परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छ । " ' अन्‍त्‍य ! देशका चारै सिमानामा अन्‍त्‍य आइपुगेको छ ।

Now the end is upon you , for I am sending out my wrath on you , and I will judge you according to your ways ; then I will bring all your abominations upon you .
अब अन्‍त्‍य तँमाथि आएको छ , किनकि म आफ्‍नो क्रोध तँमाथि पठाउँदैछु , र तेरो चालअनुसार म तेरो न्‍याय गर्नेछु । तब तेरा सबै घिनलाग्‍दा कामहरू तँमाथि नै ल्याउनेछु ।

For my eyes will not pity you , and I will not spare you . Instead , I will bring your ways upon you , and your abominations will be in your midst , so you will know that I am Yahweh .
किनकि मेरा आँखाले तँलाई दया देखाउनेछैनन् , र म तँलाई छोड्नेछैन । बरु , तेरा कामहरू तँमाथि नै ल्याउनेछु , र तेरा घिनलाग्‍दा कामहरू तेरा माझमा हुनेछन् , यसरी म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तैंले जान्‍नेछस् ।

The Lord Yahweh says this⟡ : Disaster ! A unique disaster ! Behold , it is coming .

An end is surely coming . The end has woken up against you . Behold , it is coming !
अन्‍त्‍यचाहिं साँच्‍चै नै आउँदैछ । अन्‍त्‍य तिमीहरूका विरुद्धमा उठेको छ । हेर् , त्यो आउँदैछ !

अब चाँडै मेरो क्रोध म तँमाथि पोखाउनेछु , र मेरो रिस तेरो विरिद्धमा खन्‍याउनेछु । तेरो चालअनुसार म न्‍याय गर्नेछु , र तेरा सबै घिनलाग्‍दा कामहरू तँमाथि ल्याउनेछु ।

For my eye will not look compassionately , and I will not spare you . As you have done , I will do to you ; and your abominations⟡ will be in your midst so you will know that I am Yahweh , the one punishing you .
किनकि मेरा आँखाले तँलाई दयापूर्वक हेर्नेछैनँ , र तँलाई म छोड्‍नेछैन । जस्‍तो तैंले गरेको छस् तेस्‍तै म तँलाई गर्नेछु । अनि तेरा घृणित कुराहरू तेरै माझमा हुनेछन् ताकि तँलाई दण्ड दिनेचाहिं म परमप्रभु नै हुँ भनी तैंले जान्‍नेछस् ।

Behold , the day ! Behold , it is coming ! Doom has gone out ! The rod has blossomed , arrogance has budded !
हेर् , त्‍यो दिन ! हेर् , त्‍यो आउँदैछ । तेरो सर्वनाश निस्‍केर आएको छ । लट्ठी फुलेको छ , अहङ्कारको कोपिला लागेको छ !

Violence has grown up into a rod of wickedness — none of them , and none of their multitude , none of their wealth , and none of their importance will last !
हिंसा बढेर दुष्‍टताको लठ्ठी भएको छ — तिमध्‍ये कुनै पनि , ति भीडमध्‍ये कुनै पनि , तिनका धन - सम्‍पत्तिमध्‍ये केही पनि , र तिनीहरूका कुनै पनि बहुमूल्‍य चीज छोडिनेछैन !

The time is coming ; the day has come close . Do not let the buyer rejoice , nor the seller mourn , since my anger is on the entire multitude !
समय आउँदैछ । दिन नजिकै आएको छ । किन्‍नेले आनन्‍द नगरोस् , बेच्‍नेले शोक नगरोस् , किनकि मेरो क्रोध जम्‍मै भीडमाथि परेको छ !

For the seller will not return to the land he sold as long as they both live⟡ , because the vision concerning the entire multitude will not be reversed ; and because of their sins , none of them will be strengthened !
किनकि जहिलेसम्‍म ती दुवै बाँच्‍नेछन् , बेच्‍ने आफूले बेचेको जमिनमा फर्केर आउनेछैन , किनभने समस्‍त भीडको बारेमा यो दर्शन बद्‌लिनेछैन । अनि तिनीहरूका पापहरूका कारणले तिमध्ये कोही पनि बलियो पारिनेछैन !

They have blown the trumpet and made everything ready , but there is no one marching to battle ; since my anger is on the entire multitude .
तिनीहरूले तुरही फुकेका छन् र हरेक कुरा तयार पारेका छन् , तर कोही पनि युद्ध गर्न गइरहेको छैन । किनकि मेरो क्रोध ती जम्‍मै भीडमाथि छ ।

The sword is on the outside , and plague and famine are inside the building . Those who are in the field will die by the sword , while famine and plague will consume those in the city .
घर बाहिर तरवार अनि भित्र रूढी र अनिकाल छन् । खेतमा हुनेहरू तरवारले मारिनेछन् , जबकी सहरमा हुनेचाहिं अनिकाल र रूढीले नष्‍ट हुनेछन् ।

But some survivors will escape from among them , and they will go to the mountains . Like doves of the valleys , all of them will moan — each man for his iniquity .
तर तिमध्येबाट केही बाँचेर उम्‍कनेछन् , र तिनीहरू पर्वतहरूमा जानेछन् । तिनीहरू सबैले बेसीका ढुकुरझैं शोक गर्नेछन् — हरेक मानिसले आ-आफ्‍ना अधर्मको निम्ति शोक गर्नेछ ।

Every hand will falter and every knee will be weak as water ,
हरेक हात शिथिल हुनेछ र हरेक घुँडा पानीझैं निर्बल हुनेछ ,

They will throw their silver into the streets and their gold will be like refuse . Their silver and their gold will not be able to rescue them in the day of Yahweh 's rage . Their lives will not be saved , and their hunger will not be satisfied , because their iniquity has become a stumbling block .
तिनीहरूले आफ्‍ना चाँदी गल्‍लीहरूमा फाल्‍नेछन् , र तिनीहरूको सुन त्यागिएको चिजजस्‍तो हुनेछ । परमप्रभुका क्रोधको दिनमा तिनीहरूका चाँदी र सुनले तिनीहरूलाई बचाउन सक्‍नेछैनन् । तिनीहरूको जीवन बचाइनेछैन , र तिनीहरूको भोक मेटिनेछैन , किनकि तिनीहरूको अधर्म ठेसलाग्‍ने ढुङ्गो बनेको छ ।

In their pride they took the beauty of his jeweled ornaments , and with them they made their idolatrous figures , and their detestable things . Therefore , I am turning these into an unclean thing to them .
आफ्‍ना सुन्दर गरगहनामा तिनीहरूले घमण्‍ड गरे , र तीबाट तिनीहरूले आफ्‍ना घिनलाग्‍दा मूर्तिहरू र तिनीहरूका घृणित कुराहरू बनाए । यसकारण म यिनलाई तिनीहरूका निम्‍ति अशुद्ध थोकमा परिणत गरिदिनेछु ।

Then I will give those things into the hand of strangers as plunder and to the wicked of the earth as plunder , and they will defile them .
तब म ती थोकहरू विदेशीहरू र दुष्‍टका हातमा लुटका रूपमा दिनेछु , र उनीहरूले ती बिटुला पार्नेछन् ।

Then I will turn my face away from them when they defile my cherished place ; bandits will enter it and defile it .
तब तिनीहरूले मेरो वास्ता गरिएको ठाउँलाई बिटुलो पार्दा तिनीहरूदेखि म आफ्‍नो अनुहार फर्काउनेछु । लुटेराहरू त्‍यहाँ पस्‍नेछन् र त्‍यसलाई बिटुलो पार्नेछन् ।

साङ्‌ला बनाओ , किनभने देश रगतको न्यायले भरिएको छ , र सहर हिंसाले भरिएको छ ।

So I will bring the most wicked of the nations , and they will possess their houses , and I will bring an end to the pride of the mighty , for their holy places will be defiled !
यसैले म सबैभन्‍दा दुष्‍ट जातिलाई ल्याउनेछु , र तिनीहरूले यिनीहरूका घरहरूमाथि अधिकार गर्नेछन् , र बलिया मानिसहरूको घमण्‍ड म खतम गर्नेछु , किनकि तिनीहरूका पवित्र ठाउँहरू बिटुला पारिनेछन् ।

Fear will come ! They will seek peace , but there will be none .
त्रास आउनेछ । तिनीहरूले शान्ति खोज्‍नेछन् , तर त्‍यहाँ केही हुनेछैन ।

Disaster upon disaster will come , and there will be rumor after rumor . Then they will seek a vision from the prophet , but the law will perish from the priest and advice from the elders .
विपद्‌माथि विपद् आउनेछ , र त्‍यहाँ हल्‍लामाथि हल्‍ला हुनेछ । तब तिनीहरूले अगमवक्ताबाट दर्शन खोज्‍नेछन् , तर पुजारीबाट व्‍यवस्‍था र धर्म - गुरुहरूबाट सल्‍लाह नष्‍ट हुनेछ ।

The king will mourn and the prince will dress in despair , while the hands of the people of the land will tremble in fear . According to their own ways I will do this to them ! I will judge them with their own standards until they know that I am Yahweh . ' "
राजाले शोक गर्नेछन् र शासकले निराशको पोशाक पहिरिनेछ , जबकि देशका मानिसहरूका हात त्रासले काँप्‍नेछन् । तिनीहरूका आफ्‍नै चालअनुसार तिनीहरूलाई म यसो गर्नेछु । म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिनीहरूले नजानेसम्म तिनीहरूकै मानकअनुसार म तिनीहरूको न्‍याय गर्नेछु ।
