It came⟡ about in the seventh year , on the tenth day of the fifth month , that elders of Israel came to inquire of Yahweh and sat before me .
सातौं वर्षको पाँचौं महिनाको दशौं दिनमा इस्राएलका धर्म - गुरुहरू परमप्रभुसित सोधपूछ गर्न आए र मेरो सामु बसे ।

Then the word of Yahweh came⟡ to me , saying ,
तब परमप्रभुको वचन यस भनेर मकहाँ आयो ,

" Son of man , declare to the elders of Israel and say to them , ' The Lord Yahweh says this : Have you come to inquire of me ? As I live⟡ , I will not be inquired of by you ! — this is the Lord Yahweh 's declaration . '
" ए मानिसको छोरो , इस्राएलका धर्म - गुरुहरूलाई घोषणा गर् र तिनीहरूलाई यसो भन् , ‘ परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः के तिमीहरू मसित सोधपूछ गर्न आएका छौ ? जस्‍तो म जीवित छु , तिमीहरूले मलाई सोधपूछ गर्नेछैनौ — यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो । '

Will you judge them ? Will you judge , son of man ? Let them know⟡ about their fathers ' abominations .
के तँ तिनीहरूको न्‍याय गर्नेछस् ? ए मानिसको छोरो , के तँ तिनीहरूको न्‍याय गर्नेछस् ? तिनीहरूका आफ्‍ना पुर्खाहरूका घिनलाग्‍दा कामको बारेमा तिनीहरूलाई जानकारी दे ।

Say to them , ' The Lord Yahweh says this : On the day that I chose Israel and raised my hand to swear an oath to the descendants of the house of Jacob , and made myself known to them in the land of Egypt , when I raised my hand to swear an oath to them . I said , " I am Yahweh your God " —
तिनीहरूलाई भन् , ' परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः जुन दिन मैले इस्राएललाई छानें , र याकूबको घरानासित शपथ खानलाई मैले हात उचाले र मैले आफूलाई मिश्रदेशमा तिनीहरूका बिचमा प्रकट गरें । जति बेला तिनीहरूसित शपथ खान मैले आफ्‍नो हात उचालें । मैले भनें , " म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वर हुँ " —

on that day I raised my hand to swear an oath to them that I would bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had carefully⟡ selected for them . It was flowing with milk and honey ; it was the most beautiful ornament among all the lands .
त्‍यस दिन मैले तिनीहरूसित यो शपथ खाएँ , कि म तिनीहरूलाई मिश्रदेशबाट बाहिर निकालेर मैले तिनीहरूका निम्‍ति मैले होसियारीसाथ छानेको देशमा ल्‍याउनेछु । त्‍यहाँ दूध र मह बग्‍दैथियो । यो सबै देशहरूभन्‍दा बढी सुन्‍दर गहना थियो ।

I said to them , " Let each man throw away the detestable things from before his eyes and the idols of Egypt . Do not make yourselves unclean ; I am Yahweh your God . "
मैले तिनीहरूलाई भनें , " हरेक मानिसले आफ्‍ना दृष्‍टिबाट घिनलाग्‍दा कुराहरू र मिश्रदेशका मूर्तिहरू हटाओस् । आफूलाई अशुद्ध नपार । म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वर हुँ । "

But they rebelled against me and were unwilling to listen to me . Each man did not throw away the detestable things from before his eyes nor forsake the idols of Egypt , so I determined to pour out my fury upon them to satisfy my wrath among them in the middle of the land of Egypt .
तर तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा विद्रोह गरे र मेरो कुरा सुन्‍न इच्छुक भएनन् । हरेक मानिसले आफ्‍ना दृष्‍टिबाट ती घिनलाग्‍दा कुराहरूलाई फालेनन् न त तिनीहरूले मिश्रदेशका मूर्तिहरूलाई नै त्‍यागे । यसैले मिश्रदेशको बिचमा तिनीहरूका माझमा मेरो क्रोध शान्त पार्नको निम्ति तिनीहरूमाथि मेरो रिस पोख्‍ने निश्‍चय मैले गरें ।

I acted for my name 's sake so it would not be profaned in the eyes of the nations among whom they were staying . I made myself known to them , in their eyes , by bringing them out of the land of Egypt .
आफ्‍नो नाउँको खातिर मैले यो काम गरें , यसरी तिनीहरू बसोबास गरेका जातिहरूका दृष्‍टिमा मेरो नाउँ अपवित्र नहोस् । तिनीहरूलाई मिश्रदेशबाट बाहिर निकालेर ल्‍याएर मैले आफूलाई तिनीहरूका अघि प्रकट गरें ।

So I sent them out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness .
यसैले मैले तिनीहरूलाई मिश्रदेशबाट बाहिर निकालें र तिनीहरूलाई उजाड-स्‍थान ल्‍याएँ ।

Then I gave them my statutes and made my decrees known to them , by which a man will live⟡ if he obeys them .
तब मैले तिनीहरूलाई मेरा विधिहरू दिएँ र मेरा नियमहरू तिनीहरूलाई प्रकट गरें । मानिसले ती पालन गर्‍यो भने त्‍यसद्वारा ऊ बाँच्‍नेछ ।

I also gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between myself and them , for them to know that I am Yahweh who makes them holy .
म परमप्रभु नै हुँ जसले तिनीहरूलाई पवित्र पार्छु भनी तिनीहरूले जानून् भनेर तिनीहरू र मेरो बिचमा चिन्‍हको रूपमा मैले तिनीहरूलाई शबाथदिनहरू पनि दिएँ ।

But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness . They did not walk in my statutes ; instead , they rejected my decrees , by which a man will live⟡ if he obeys them . They greatly profaned my Sabbaths , so I said I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness in order to end them .
तर इस्राएल घरानाले उजाड-स्‍थान मेरो विरुद्धमा विद्रोह गरे । तिनीहरू मेरो विधिहरूमा चलेनन् । बरु , तिनीहरूले मेरा नियमहरूलाई इन्‍कार गरे । मानिसले ती पालन गर्‍यो भने त्‍यसद्वारा ऊ बाँच्‍नेछ । तिनीहरूले मेरा शबाथहरूलाई एकदमै बिटुलो पारे । यसैले मैले भनें , म तिनीहरूको नाश गर्नलाई यही उजाड-स्‍थान तिनीहरूमाथि आफ्‍नो क्रोध पोखाउनेछु ।

But I acted for my name 's sake so it would not be profaned in the eyes of the nations , in whose sight I had brought them out of Egypt .
तर जुन जातिहरूका दृष्‍टिमा मैले तिनीहरूलाई मिश्रदेशबाट बाहिर निकालेर ल्‍याएँ , तिनीहरूका दृष्‍टिमा मेरो नाउँ अपवित्र नहोस् भनेर मेरो नाउँको खातिर मैले काम गरें ।

So I myself also raised my hand to swear an oath to them in the wilderness not to bring them into the land that I had been going to give them , a land flowing with milk and honey , which was the most beautiful ornament among all the lands .
यसैले मैले तिनीहरूलाई दिन लागेको देशमा म तिनीहरूलाई लानेछैनँ भनेर तिनीहरूसित उजाड-स्‍थान एउटा शपथ खानलाई म आफैले पनि आफ्‍नो हात उठाएँ । त्‍यो देश सबै देशहरूभन्‍दा सुन्‍दर गहनाको दूध र मह बग्‍ने देश हो ।

I swore this because they had rejected my decrees and did not walk in my statutes , and they profaned my Sabbaths , since their hearts walked after their idols .
मैले यो शपथ खाएँ किनभने तिनीहरूले मेरा नियमहरूलाई इन्‍कार गरे र मेरा विधिहरूमा हिंडेनन् , र तिनीहरूले मेरा शबाथहरूलाई बिटुलो पारे , किनकि तिनीहरूका हृदय तिनीहरूका मूर्तिहरूका पछि लागेका थिए ।

But my eye spared them from their destruction and I did not annihilate them in the wilderness .
तर तिनीहरूको सर्वनाश हुनबाट मैले तिनीहरूमा दया गरें , र मैले उजाड-स्‍थान तिनीहरूको अस्‍तित्‍व मेटाइन ।

I said to their children in the wilderness , " Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers , or keep their rules , or defile yourselves with their idols .
उजाड-स्‍थान मैले तिनीहरूका छोराछोरीलाई भनें , " तिमीहरूका पुर्खाहरूका विधिहरूमा नहिंड न त तिनीहरूका नियमहरू पालन गर , न त तिनीहरूका मूर्तिहरूले आफूलाई बिटुलो पार्ने काम गर ।

I am Yahweh your God , walk in my statutes ; keep my decrees and obey them .

Keep my Sabbaths holy so that they will be a sign between me and you , so that you will know that I am Yahweh your God . "
मेरा शबाथहरूलाई पवित्र राख , ताकि मेरो र तिमीहरूका बिचमा ती एउटा चिन्‍ह हुनेछन् , ताकि म नै परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वर हुँ भनी तिमीहरूले जान्‍नेछौ । "

But their sons and daughters rebelled against me . They did not walk in my statutes or keep my decrees , by which a man might live⟡ if he obeys them . They profaned my Sabbaths , so I determined to pour out my fury upon them to satisfy my wrath against them in the wilderness .
तर तिनीहरूका छोराछोरीले मेरो विरुद्धमा विद्रोह गरे । तिनीहरू मेरा उर्दीहरूमा हिंडेनन् , न त मेरा व्‍यवस्‍थाहरू पालन गरे । मानिसले ती पालन गर्‍यो भने त्‍यसद्वारा ऊ बाँच्‍नेछ । तिनीहरूले मेरा शबाथहरूलाई बिटुलो पारे , यसैले मेरो क्रोध शान्त पार्न मैले उजाड-स्‍थान आफ्‍नो रिस तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा खन्‍याउने निश्‍चय गरें ।

But I turned my hand away and acted for my name 's sake , so it would not be profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I had brought out the Israelites .
तर मैले आफ्‍नो हात फर्काएँ , र मेरो नाउँको खातिर काम गरें यसरी मैले इस्राएलीहरूलाई निकालेर ल्‍याएको देखेका जातिहरूका दृष्‍टिमा त्‍यो अपवित्र नहोस् ।

I myself also lifted up my hand to swear to them in the wilderness , that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them among the lands .
तिनीहरूलाई म जातिहरूका बिचमा छरपष्‍ट पार्नेछु , र तिनीहरूलाई देशहरूमा तितरबितर पार्नेछु भनेर तिनीहरूसित उजाड-स्‍थान एउटा शपथ खानलाई म आफैले पनि आफ्‍नो हात उठाएँ ।

I decided to do this since they had not obeyed my decrees , and since they had rejected my statutes and profaned my Sabbaths . Their eyes were longing after their fathers ' idols .
तिनीहरूले मेरा नियमहरू नमानेका हुनाले र तिनीहरूले मेरा विधिहरूलाई इन्‍कार गरेका र मेरा शबाथहरूलाई बिटुलो पारेका हुनाले मैले यसो गर्ने निर्णय गरें । तिनीहरूका आँखाहरूले आफ्‍ना पुर्खाहरूका मूर्तिहरूको लालसा गरे ।

Then I also gave them statutes that were not good , and decrees by which they could not live .
तब मैले तिनीहरूलाई यस्‍ता विधानहरू पनि दिएँ जो असल थिएनन् , र यस्‍ता नियमहरू दिएँ जसद्वारा तिनीहरू बाँच्‍न सकेनन् ।

I declared them to be unclean through their gifts — they made a sacrifice of every firstborn of the womb and caused them to pass through the fire — that I might fill them with horror so they will know that I am Yahweh ! '
तिनीहरूका उपहारहरूद्वारा मैले तिनीहरूलाई अशुद्ध घोषणा गरें — तिनीहरूले गर्भका हरेक जेठोको बलिदान चढाए र तिनीहरूलाई आगोमा हिंड्न लगाए — कि मैले तिनीहरूलाई त्रसित बनाउन सकूँ यसरी म परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिनीहरूले जान्‍नेछन् । ’

Therefore , son of man , speak to the house of Israel and say to them , ' The Lord Yahweh says this : In this⟡ also your fathers blasphemed me when they were unfaithful to me .
यसकारण , ए मानिसको छोरो , इस्राएलका घरानासँग बोल् र तिनीहरूलाई भन् , ' परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः यसमा पनि तिमीहरूका पुर्खाहरू मप्रति विश्‍वासघाती बनेर मेरो निन्‍दा गरे ।

When I brought them into the land that I had sworn to give them , and then whenever they saw any high hill and leafy tree , they offered their sacrifices , they provoked me by their offerings , and there they also burned their fragrant incense and poured out their drink offerings .
जब मैले शपथ खाएर तिनीहरूलाई दिन्‍छु भनेको देशमा मैले तिनीहरूलाई ल्‍याएँ , तब जहाँ तिनीहरूले कुनै अग्‍लो डाँडा वा कुनै झ्‍याम्‍म पातहरू भएको रूख देखे , त्‍यहाँ तिनीहरूले आफ्‍ना बलिदानहरू चढाए । अनि आफ्‍ना भेटीहरूद्वारा तिनीहरूले मलाई रिस उठाए , र त्‍यहाँ तिनीहरूले आफ्‍ना सुगन्‍धित धूप पनि बाले र आफ्‍ना अर्घ - बलि चढाए ।

Then I said to them , " What is this⟡ high place where you bring offerings there ? " So the name is called Bamah to this⟡ day . '
तब मैले तिनीहरूलाई सोधें , " तिमीहरूले भेटी चढाउने गरेको अग्‍लो ठाउँ के हो ? " आजको दिनसम्‍म त्‍यो ठाउँलाई बामा भनिन्‍छ ।

Therefore say to the house of Israel , ' The Lord Yahweh says this⟡ : Why do you make yourselves unclean with the ways of your fathers ? So why do you act like prostitutes , searching for disgusting things ?
यसकारण इस्राएलको घरानालाई यसो भन् : ' परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः तिमीहरू आफ्‍ना पुर्खाहरूका चालमा हिंडेर तिमीहरू आफूलाई पनि किन बिटुलो पार्छौ ? घिनलाग्‍दा कुराहरूको खोजी गरेर किन तिमीहरू वेश्याहरूझैं काम गर्छौ ?

When you offer up your gifts — when you cause⟡ your sons to pass through the fire — to this day you defile yourselves with all your idols . So why should I let you seek me , house of Israel ? As I live⟡ — this is the Lord Yahweh 's declaration — I will not allow you to seek me .
जब तिमीहरू आफ्‍ना उपहारहरू चढाउँछौ — जब तिमीहरू आफ्‍ना छोराहरूलाई आगोमा हिंड्न लगाउँछौ — तब आजको दिनसम्‍म पनि तिमीहरूले आफ्‍ना मूर्तिहरूको कारणले आफैलाई बिटुलो पार्छौ । यसैले ए इस्राएलको घराना , मसँग सोधपूछ गर्न मैले तिमीहरूलाई किन दिनु ? जस्तो म जीवित छु — यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो — तिमीहरूले मलाई सोधपूछ गर्न म दिनेछैनँ ।

The thought that is forming in your mind will never happen . You say , " Let us be like the other nations , like the clans in the other lands who worship wood and stone . "
तिमीहरूको मनमा उठेको विचार कहिले पुरा हुँनेछैन । तिमीहरू भन्‍छौ , " हामीहरू अरू जातिहरूजस्‍तै , काठ र ढुङ्गालाई पुज्ने अरू देशका जातिहरूजस्तै बनौं । "

As I live⟡ — this is the Lord Yahweh 's declaration — I will certainly reign over you with a mighty hand , a raised arm , and fury that will be poured out on you .
जस्‍तो म जीवित छु — यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो — शक्तिशाली हात र पसारेको पाखुराद्वारा म तिमीहरूमाथि राज्‍य गर्नेछु र तिमीहरूमाथि क्रोध खन्‍याउनेछु ।

I will bring you out from the other peoples and will gather you out of the countries among whom you have been scattered . I will do this with a mighty hand and with fury poured out .
तिमीहरूलाई म अरू जातिहरूका बिचबाट निकालेर ल्‍याउनेछु , र तिमीहरू छरपष्‍ट भएका देशहरूबाट म तिमीहरूलाई भेला गर्नेछु । मेरो शक्तिशाली हातले म यसो गर्नेछु र क्रोध खन्‍याउनेछु ।

Then I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples , and there I will judge you face to face .
तब म तिमीहरूलाई जातिहरूको उजाड-स्‍थान ल्‍याउनेछु , र त्‍यहाँ म तिमीहरूको न्‍याय आमने - सामनेमा गर्नेछु ।

जसरी मिश्रदेशको उजाड-स्‍थान मैले तिमीहरूका पुर्खाहरूको न्‍याय गरें , त्‍यसरी नै म तिमीहरूको न्‍याय म गर्नेछु — यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो ।

I will cause⟡ you to pass under my rod , and I will make you obey the requirements of the covenant .
म तिमीहरूलाई मेरो लौरो मुनि छिर्न लाउनेछु , र तिमीहरूलाई करारमा भएका कुराहरू मान्‍न लगाउनेछु ।

I will purge from among you the rebels and those who revolt against me . I will send them out from the land where they are staying⟡ as foreigners⟡ , but they will not enter the land of Israel . Then you will know that I am Yahweh .
तिमीहरूका माझबाट विद्रोह गर्नेहरू र मेरो विरुद्धमा अपराध गर्नेहरूलाई म हटाउनेछु । तिनीहरू प्रवासी भएर बसेको देशबाट म तिनीहरूलाई बाहिर पठाउनेछु , तर तिनीहरू इस्राएल देशमा पस्‍नेछैनन् । तब म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिमीहरूले जान्‍नेछौ ।

So to you , house of Israel , the Lord Yahweh says this⟡ : Each of you should go to his own idols . Worship them if you will refuse to listen to me , but you must no longer profane my holy name with your gifts and your idols .
यसैले ए इस्राएलका घराना , परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर तिमीहरूलाई यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः तिमीहरू हरेक आ-आफ्‍नो मूर्तिहरूतिर जानुपर्छ । तिमीहरू मेरो कुरा सुन्‍न इन्‍कार गर्छौ भने तिनीहरूकै पुजा गर , तर आफ्‍ना उपहारहरू र मूर्तिहरूले मेरो पवित्र नाउँलाई तिमीहरूले अपवित्र पार्नुहुँदैन ।
EZK 20:40     Alignment score: 0.249 → 0.249
For on my holy mountain , on the mountain peak of Israel — this is the Lord Yahweh 's declaration — all of the house of Israel will worship me there in the land . I will be pleased to require your offerings there , and also the firstfruits of your tribute with all your holy things .
किनकि मेरो पवित्र पर्वतमा , इस्राएलको पहाडको टाकुरामा — यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो — इस्राएलका जम्‍मै घरानाले त्‍यहाँ मेरो आराधना गर्नेछन् । त्‍यहीं नै म तिमीहरूका भेटीहरू , तिमीहरूका सबैभन्‍दा उत्तम उपहारहरू , तिमीहरूका सबै पवित्र थोकहरूको बलिदानहरू ग्रहण गर्नेछु ।

I will accept you like fragrant incense when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered . I will show myself as holy among you for the nations to see .
जब म तिमीहरूलाई मानिसहरूबाट निकालेर ल्‍याउँछ र तिमीहरू छरपष्‍ट भएका देशहरूबाट तिमीहरूलाई भेला गराउनेछु , तब म तिमीहरूलाई बास्‍ना आउने धूपझैं ग्रहण गर्नेछु । जातिहरूका दृष्‍टिमा म तिमीहरूका बिचमा आफैलाई पवित्र प्रकट गर्नेछु ।
