Then the word of Yahweh came to me , saying ,
तब परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो ,

" Son of man , set your face against the people of Ammon and prophesy against them .
" ए मानिसको छोरो , अम्‍मोनका मानिसहरूतिर आफ्‍नो अनुहार फर्का , र तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा अगमवाणी भन् ।

Say to the people of Ammon , ' Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh . This⟡ is what the Lord Yahweh says : Because you said , " Aha ! " over my sanctuary when it was profaned , and against the land of Israel when it was desolate , and against the house of Judah when they went into exile ,
अम्मोनका मानिसहरूलाई यसो भन् , ' परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको वचन सुन । परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः मेरो पवित्रस्‍थान तुच्‍छा पारिंदा त्‍यसको बारेमा , र इस्राएलको देश उजाड हुँदा र यहूदाका मानिसहरू निर्वासनमा जाँदा तिमीहरूले , " अहा ! " भन्‍यौ ,

therefore , behold , I am giving you to a people in the east as their possession . They will set up camp against you and set up their tents among you . They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk .
यसकारण , हेर , म तिमीहरूलाई पूर्वका मानिसहरूकहाँ तिनीहरूका सम्‍पत्तिझैं सुम्‍पिदिनेछु । उनीहरूले तिमीहरूका विरुद्धमा छाउनी हाल्‍नेछन् , र तिमीहरूकै बिचमा आफ्‍ना पालहरू खडा गर्नेछन् । उनीहरूले तिमीहरूका फल खानेछन् र तिमीहरूको दूध पिउनेछन् ।

I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and the people of Ammon a field for flocks . Then you will know that I am Yahweh .
म रब्‍बालाई ऊँटहरू चर्ने खर्क र अम्‍मोनका मानिसहरूलाई भेडाको मैदान बनाउनेछु । तब तिमीहरूले म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी जान्‍नेछौ ।

किनकि परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः इस्राएल देशको विरुद्धमा तिमीहरूभित्रै सारा अपमान हुँदा पनि तिमीहरूले आफ्‍ना ताली बजाएका र आफ्‍ना खुट्टा बजारेका र आनन्‍दित बनेका छौ ।

Therefore , behold ! I will strike you with my hand and give you as plunder to the nations . I will cut you off from the peoples and make you perish from among the countries ! I will destroy you , and you will know that I am Yahweh . '
यसकारण , हेर , म आफ्‍ना हातले तिमीहरूलाई हिर्काउनेछु , र तिमीहरूलाई जातिहरूका लूटको मालझैं दिनेछु । तिमीहरूलाई म मानिसहरूदेखि अलग गर्नेछु र देशहरूका बिचमा तिमीहरूको नाश गर्नेछु । म तिमीहरूलाई सर्वनाश गर्नेछु , र तिमीहरूले म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी जान्‍नेछौ ' ।

The Lord Yahweh says this⟡ , ' Because Moab and Seir say , " Behold ! The house of Judah is like every other nation . "
परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः ' किनभने मोआब र सेइरले यसो भन्छन् , " हेर , यहूदाको घरानाचाहिं अरू हरेक जातिजस्‍तै छ । "

Therefore , behold ! I will open the slopes of Moab , starting at his cities on the border — the splendor of Beth Jeshimoth , Baal Meon , and Kiriathaim —
यसकारण , हेर् , सिमानामा भएका सहरहरूदेखि सुरु गरेर — बेथ - यशीमोत , बाल - मोन र किर्यातैमका गौरव — मोआबको भिरालो भागलाई म खुलस्‍त पार्नेछु —

to the people of the east who have been against the people of Ammon . I will give them up as a possession so that the people of Ammon will not be remembered among the nations .
अम्‍मोनका मानिसहरूको विरुद्धमा भएका पूर्व देशका मानिसहरूलाई । म तिनीहरूलाई सम्‍पत्तिको रूपमा दिनेछु , ताकि जातिहरूका बिचमा अम्मोनका मानिसहरूको सम्‍झना गरिनेछैन ।

So I will perform judgments⟡ against Moab , and they will know that I am Yahweh . '
यसैले मोआबको विरुद्धमा न्‍याय गर्नेछु , र तिनीहरूले म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी जान्‍नेछन् ' ।

The Lord Yahweh says this , ' Edom has taken vengeance against the house of Judah and has committed wrong in doing so .
परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छ , ' एदोमले यहूदाको घरानासित बदला लियो , र त्‍यसो गरेर त्यसले गलत गर्‍यो ।

Therefore , the Lord Yahweh says this⟡ : I will strike Edom with my hand and destroy every person and animal there . I will make them a ruined , abandoned place , from Teman to Dedan . They will fall by the sword .
यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः म आफ्नो हातले एदोमलाई हिर्काउनेछु , र त्‍यहाँ भएका हरेक मानिस र पशुको नाश गर्नेछु । तेमानदेखि ददानसम्‍मै म त्‍यसलाई भग्‍नावशेष , उजाड पार्नेछु । तिनीहरू तरवारले ढल्‍नेछन् ।

I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel , and they will do to Edom according to my anger and my fury , and they will know my vengeance — this is the Lord Yahweh 's declaration . '
मेरो मानिस इस्राएलकै हातद्वारा म एदोममाथि बदला लिनेछु , र यिनीहरूले मेरो रिस र मेरो क्रोधअनुसार एदोममाथि व्‍यवहार गर्नेछन् , र तिनीहरूले मेरो बदला कस्‍तो रहेछ भनी जान्‍नेछन् — यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो ' ।

The Lord Yahweh says this , ' The Philistines have taken vengeance with malice and from within themselves they tried to destroy Judah again and again .
परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छ , ' पलिश्‍तीहरूले शत्रुतासाथ बदला लिएका छन् , र आफ्‍नो भित्रैदेखि तिनीहरूले यहूदालाई पटक - पटक सर्वनाश गर्न खोजे ।

So this⟡ is what the Lord Yahweh says : Behold ! I will reach out with my hand against the Philistines , and I will cut off the Kerethites and destroy the remnant who are along the seacoast .
यसैले परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः हेर् , पलिश्‍तीहरूका विरुद्धमा आफ्‍नो हात म उठाउनेछु , र करेतीहरूलाई म खतम पार्नेछु , र समुद्र किनारमा बस्‍ने बाँकी रहेकाहरूलाई सर्वनाश गर्नेछु ।

For I will take great vengeance against them with furious acts of punishment , so they will know that I am Yahweh , when I take my vengeance on them . ' "
किनकि तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा क्रोधमा दण्‍ड दिंदै म ठुलो बदला लिनेछु । यसरी तिनीहरूमाथि मैले बदला लिंदा , तिनीहरूले म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी जान्‍नेछन् ' । "
