Then he reached out the form of a hand and took me by the hair of my head ; the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven , and in visions from God , he brought me to Jerusalem , to the entrance of the inner northern gate , where the idol that provokes great jealousy⟡ was standing .
तब तिनले हातजस्‍तै आकार पसारेर मेरो कपाल समातेर मलाई जुरुक्‍क उठाए । आत्‍माले मलाई पृथ्‍वी र स्‍वर्गको बिचमा उचाल्नुभयो , र परमेश्‍वरका दर्शनहरूमा यरूशलेममा मन्‍दिरको भित्री चोकमा प्रवेश गर्ने उत्तरपट्टिको मूल ढोकानेर उहाँले मलाई लग्‍नुभयो , जहाँ डाही बनाउने मूर्ति खडा थियो ।

Then behold , the glory of the God of Israel was there , according to the vision I had seen on the plain .
तब हेर , मैले मैदानमा देखेको दर्शनअनुसार त्‍यहाँ इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वरको महिमा थियो ।

Then he said to me , " Son of man , lift up your eyes to the north . " So I lifted up my eyes to the north , and to the north of the gate leading to the altar , there in the entrance , was the idol of jealousy .
तब उहाँले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो , " ए मानिसको छोरो ! तेरो आँखाले उत्तरतिर हेर् । " यसैले मैले आँखाले उत्तरतिर हेरें , र वेदीतिर जाने ढोकाको उत्तर , त्‍यहाँ ढोकामा त्‍यो डाहको मूर्ति थियो ।

So he said to me , " Son of man , do you see what they are doing ? These are great abominations that the house of Israel is doing here to make me go far from my own sanctuary . But you will turn and see even greater abominations . "
यसैले उहाँले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो , " ए मानिसको छोरो , तिनीहरू के गर्दैछन् , तँ देख्‍छस् ? इस्राएलको घरानाले मलाई आफ्‍नो पवित्रस्‍थानबाट टाढा हटाउनलाई घिनलाग्‍दा काम यी नै हुन् । तर तँ फर्कनेछस् र अझ बढी घिनलाग्‍दा कामहरू देख्‍नेछस् । "

Then he brought me to the doorway of the courtyard , and I looked , and there was a hole in the wall .
तब उहाँले मलाई चोकको ढोकामा ल्याउनुभयो , र मैले हेरें र त्‍यहाँ पर्खालमा प्वाल थियो ।

He said to me , " Son of man , dig into this wall . " So I dug into the wall , and there was a door .

यसैले म भित्र पसें र हेरें , र नियालें । त्‍यहाँ हरेक किसिमका घस्रने जन्‍तुहरू र घिनलाग्‍दा पशुहरू थिए ! इस्राएलको घरानाका जम्‍मै मूर्तिहरूका चित्रहरू त्‍यहाँ भित्तामा चारैतिर बनाइएका थिए ।

त्यहाँ इस्राएलका घरानाका सत्तरी जना धर्म - गुरुहरू थिए र शापानको छोरो याजन्‍याह तिनीहरूका माझमा खडा थिए । तिनीहरू मूर्तिहरूका सामु खडा थिए , र धूपको धूवाँ मास्‍तिर जाओस् भनेर हरेकले हातमा आ-आफ्‍ना धुपौरो लिएर खडा थिए ।

He said to me , " Son of man , do you see what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark ? Each one does this⟡ in the hidden chamber of his idol , for they say , ' Yahweh does not see us ! Yahweh has forsaken the land . ' "
उहाँले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो , " ए मानिसको छोरो , इस्राएलका घरानाका धर्म - गुरुहरूले अँध्‍यारोमा के गरिरहेका के तँ देख्‍छस् ? आफ्नो मूर्तिको गुप्‍त कोठामा तिनीहरू प्रत्‍येकले यसो गर्छन् किनकि तिनीहरू भन्‍छन् , ' परमप्रभुले हामीलाई देख्‍नुहुन्‍न । परमप्रभुले देशलाई त्‍याग्‍नुभएको छ ' । "

Then he said to me , " Turn again and see the other great abominations that they are doing . "
तब उहाँले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो , " फेरि फर्की र तिनीहरूले गरिरहेका अरू ठुला घिनलाग्‍दा कामहरू हेर् । "

त्यसपछि उहाँले मलाई परमप्रभुका मन्‍दिरको उत्तरपट्टिका ढोकाको मुखमा लानुभयो र हेर , त्‍यहाँ स्‍त्रीहरू बसेर तम्‍मूज देवताको लागि रोइरहेका थिए ।

He brought me into the inner courtyard of Yahweh 's house , and behold ! at the entrance of the temple of Yahweh between the portico and the altar , there were about twenty - five men with their backs toward the temple of Yahweh and their faces toward the east , and they were worshiping the sun .
उहाँले मलाई परमप्रभुका मन्‍दिरको भित्री चोकमा लानुभयो , र हेर , अनि त्‍यहाँ वेदी र दलानको बिचमा परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिरको ढोकामा करिब पच्‍चीस जना मानिस थिए , आफ्‍ना पिठ परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिरतिर र अनुहारचाहिं पूर्वपट्टि फर्काएर तिनीहरूले सूर्यको पुजा गरिरहेका थिए ।

He said to me , " Do you see this , son of man ? Is it a little thing for the house of Judah to do these abominations that they are doing here ? For they have filled the land with violence and they have turned again to provoke me to anger , putting the branch to their noses .
उहाँले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो , " ए मानिसको छोरो , के तँ यो देख्छस् ? के तिनीहरूले यहाँ गरिरहेका यी घिनलाग्‍दा काम यहूदाका घरानाको लागि सानो कुरा हो र ? किनकि तिनीहरूले देशलाई हिंसाले भरेका छन् र आफ्‍ना नाकमा हाँगा राखेर मलाई रिस उठाउनलाई तर्केका छन् ।

So I will also act among them ; my eye will not have compassion , and I will not spare them . Though they cry in my ears⟡ with a loud voice , I will not hear them . "
यसैले म पनि तिनीहरूको माझमा काम गर्नेछु । मेरा आँखामा दया हुनेछैन , र म तिनीहरूलाई छोड्नेछैनँ । तिनीहरू उच्‍च सोरले मेरो कानैमा कराए तापनि म तिनीहरूको कुरा सुन्‍नेछैनँ ।
