When Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children , Rachel envied her sister . She said to Jacob , " Give me children , or I will die . "
आफूले याकूबबाट कुनै सन्तान नजन्माएको देखेर राहेलले आफ्नी दिदीको डाह गरिन् । उनले याकूबलाई भनिन् , " मलाई सन्तान दिनुहोस् , नत्रभने म मर्नेछु । "

Jacob 's anger burned against Rachel . He said , " Am I in the place of God , who has kept you from having children ? "

Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest and found⟡ mandrakes in the field . He brought them to his mother Leah . Then Rachel said to Leah , " Give me some of your son 's mandrakes . "

लेआले उनलाई भनिन् , " के तिमीले मेरा पति मबाट लैजानु सामान्य विषय हो र ? अब तिमी मेरो छोराका विशाखमूलहरू पनि लिन चाहन्छ्यौ ? राहेलले भनिन् , " त्यसो भए , तिम्रो छोराका विशाखमूलहरूको सट्टामा आज राति तिनी तिमीसितै सुत्‍नेछन् । "

Jacob came from the field in the evening . Leah went out to meet him and said , " You must sleep⟡ with me tonight , for I have hired you with my son 's mandrakes . " So Jacob slept with Leah that night .
साँझमा याकूब खेतबाट आए । लेआ तिनलाई भेट्न गइन् र भनिन् , " आज राती तपाईं मसित सुत्‍नुपर्छ किनकि मैले तपाईंलाई मेरो छोराका विशाखमूलहरू दिएर भाडामा लिएको छु । " त्यसैले त्यस रात याकूब उनीसित सुते ।

God listened to Leah , and she conceived and bore Jacob a fifth son .
परमेश्‍वरले लेआको पुकारा सुन्‍नुभयो , र उनी गर्भवती भएर याकूबको निम्ति पाँचौँ छोरो जन्माइन् ।

Leah said , " God has given me my wages , because I gave my servant woman to my husband . " She called his name Issachar .

Leah conceived again and bore a sixth son to Jacob .
लेआ फेरि गर्भवती भइन् र उनले याकूबको निम्ति छैटौँ छोरो जन्माइन् ।

Leah said , " God has given me a good gift . Now my husband will honor me , because I have borne⟡ him six sons . " She called his name Zebulun .
लेआले भनिन् , " परमेश्‍वरले मलाई अनमोल उपहार दिनुभएको छ । अब मेरा पतिले मलाई इज्‍जत गर्नुहुनेछ किनभने मैले उहाँका निम्ति छवटा छोरा जन्माएँ । " उनले त्यसको नाउँ जबूलून राखिन् ।

Afterwards she bore a daughter and called her name Dinah .
त्यसपछि उनले एउटी छोरी जन्माइन् र त्यसको नाउँ दीना राखिन् ।

She conceived and bore a son . She said , " God has taken away my shame . "

She called his name Joseph , saying , " Yahweh has added to me another son . "

After Rachel had borne⟡ Joseph , Jacob said to Laban , " Send⟡ me away , so that I may go to my own home and to my country .

Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you , and let me go , for you know the service I have given you . "
मलाई मेरा पत्‍नीहरू र मेरा छोराछोरीहरू दिनुहोस् जसको निम्ति मैले तपाईंको सेवा गरेको छु । मलाई जान दिनुहोस् किनकि मैले तपाईंको सेवा गरेको त तपाईंलाई थाहै छ । "

Laban said to him , " If now I have found favor in your eyes , wait , because I have learned by using divination that Yahweh has blessed me for your sake . "
लाबानले तिनलाई भने , " मैले तिम्रो दृष्‍टिमा निगाह पाएको छु भने पर्ख , किनभने पूर्वलक्षणको प्रयोगद्वारा मैले थाहा पाएको छु , कि तिम्रो कारणले गर्दा परमप्रभुले मलाई आशिष् दिनुभएको छ ।

Then he said , " Name your wages , and I will pay them . "

Jacob said to him , " You know how I have served you , and how your livestock have fared with me .

म आउनुअगि तपाईंसित थोरै मात्र थियो तर अहिले प्रचुर मात्रामा वृद्धि भएका छन् । मैले जहाँसुकै काम गरे तापनि परमप्रभुले तपाईंलाई आशिष् दिनुभएको छ । अब मेरो आफ्नै घरानाको निम्तिचाहिँ मैले कहिले बन्दोवस्त गर्ने ? "

So Laban said , " What will I pay you ? " Jacob said , " You will not give me anything . If you will do this⟡ thing for me , I will again feed your flock and keep it .
त्यसैले लाबानले भने , " म तिमीलाई के दिऊँ ? " याकूबले भने , " तपाईंले मलाई केही पनि दिनुपर्दैन । तपाईंले मलाई केही दिनुभयो भने मैले फेरि तपाईंको बगाललाई खुवाउनुपर्ने हुन्छ र यसको हेरचाह गर्नुपर्ने हुन्छ ।

Let me walk through all your flock today , removing from it every speckled and spotted sheep , and every black one among the sheep , and the spotted and speckled among the goats . These will be my wages .
आज मलाई तपाईंको बगालबाट थुमाहरूका बिचमा हरेक थोप्ले , हरेक पेटारे र हरेक कालो अनि बाख्राहरूका बिचमा पनि हरेक थोप्ले र पेटारे छुट्‌ट्याउन दिनुहोस् । यी मेरा ज्याला हुनेछन् ।

My integrity will testify for me later on , when you come to check on my wages . Every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats , and black among the sheep , if any are found with me , will be considered to be stolen . "
तपाईं मेरा ज्यालाको हिसाब गर्न आउनुहुँदा पछि मेरो सत्यनिष्‍ठा‌ले नै मेरो गवाही दिनेछ । बाख्राहरूका बिचमा थोप्ले र पेटारे नभएको अनि थुमाहरूका बिचमा कालो नभएको मध्ये कुनै फेला पारियो भने ती मैले चोरेको ठहरिनेछ । "

Laban said , " Agreed . Let it be according to your word . "
लाबानले भने , " हुन्छ । तिम्रो वचनअनुसार नै होस् । "

Laban also put three days ' journey between himself and Jacob . So Jacob kept tending the rest of Laban 's flocks .

Jacob took fresh cut branches of fresh poplar , and of the almond and of the plane tree , and peeled white streaks in them , and made the white inner wood appear that was in the sticks .
याकूबले ताजा लहरे - पीपल , हाडे बदाम र चिनारका रुखका भर्खरै काटिएका हाँगाहरू लिए , र तिनमा सेतो धर्का बनाउनलाई बोक्राहरू ताछे ।

Then he set the sticks that he had peeled in front of the flocks , in front of the watering troughs where they came to drink . They conceived when they came to drink .
त्यसपछि तिनले बगालहरूको सामु रहेका ती ताछिएका हाँगाहरू पानी पिउन आउने डूँडको सामु राखे । पानी पिउन आउँदा तिनीहरू गर्भवती भए ।

The flocks bred in front of the sticks ; and the flocks produced striped , speckled , and spotted young .
ती बगालहरू हाँगाहरूका सामुन्‍ने मिसिने भएकाले तिनीहरूले पाठापाठी पनि त्यस्तै छिर्केमिर्के , पेटारे र थोप्ले ब्याए ।

Jacob separated out these lambs , but made the rest of them face toward the striped animals and all the black sheep in the flock of Laban . Then he separated out his flocks for himself alone and did not put them together with Laban 's flocks .
याकूबले यी थुमाहरूलाई छुट्‌ट्याए , तर बाँकी बगाललाई चाहिँ छिर्केमिर्के जनावरहरूतिर फर्काएर राखे अनि सबै काला थुमालाई चाहिँ लाबानको बगालमा राखिदिए । त्यसपछि तिनले आफ्नो बगाललाई चाहिँ अलग गरे र लाबानको बगालसित मिसाएनन् ।
GEN 30:42     Alignment score: 0.306
But when the feebler animals in the flock came , he did not put the sticks in front of them . So the feebler animals were Laban 's , and the stronger were Jacob 's .
तर बगालमा भएका कमजोर जनावरहरू आउँदा तिनले तिनीहरूको सामु हाँगाहरू राख्दैनथ्ये । यसरी कमजोर जनावरहरू लाबानका भए र बलियाहरू याकूबका भए ।
GEN 30:43     Alignment score: 0.293 → 0.293
The man became very prosperous . He had large flocks , female servants and male servants , and camels and donkeys .
याकूबले ज्यादै उन्‍नति गरे । तिनका ठुला - ठुला बगालहरू , नोकर - चाकरहरू ऊँटहरू र गधाहरू थिए ।
