Then Yahweh said to me , " Even if Moses or Samuel were standing in front of me , I would still not be in favor of this people . Send⟡ them out from before me , for them to go away .
तब परमप्रभुले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो , " मोशा र शमूएल मेरो सामु खडा भए तापनि म यी मानिसका पक्षमा खडा हुन्‍नँ । तिनीहरूलाई टाढा जानलाई मेरो सामुबाट तिनीहरूलाई हटाइदे ।

It will happen that they will say to you , ' Where should we go ? ' Then you must say to them , ' Yahweh says this : Those who are for death should go to death ; those who are for the sword should go to the sword . Those who are for famine should go to famine ; and those who are for captivity should go to captivity . '
यस्‍तो हुनेछ , तिनीहरूले तँलाई यसो भन्‍नेछन् , ' हामी कहाँ जाने ? ' तब तैंले तिनीहरूलाई भन्‍नुपर्छ , ' परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छः मृत्युको निम्ति साँचिएकाहरू मृत्युमा जानुपर्छ । तरवारको निम्ति साँचिएकाहरू तरवारमा जानुपर्छ । अनिकालको निम्ति साँचिएकाहरू अनिकालमा जानुपर्छ , र निर्वासनको निम्ति साँचिएकाहरू निर्वासनमा जानुपर्छ । '

For I will assign them to four groups — this is Yahweh 's declaration — the sword to slaughter some , the dogs to drag some away , the birds of the skies and the beast of the earth to consume and destroy some .
म तिनीहरूलाई चारवटा समूहमा विभाजन गर्नेछु , यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो — केहीलाई मार्न तरवारलाई , केहीलाई घिसार्न कुकुरहरूलाई , केहीलाई स्वाहा पार्न र नष्‍ट पार्नलाई आकाशका चराहरू र जमिनका पशुहरूलाई ।

I will make of them a horrifying thing to all the kingdoms of the earth , because of what Manasseh son of Hezekiah , king of Judah , did in Jerusalem .
यहूदाका राजा हिजकियाहका छोरा मनश्शेले यरूशलेममा जे गरेका थिए , त्यसैको कारणले म तिनीहरूलाई पृथ्वीका सबै राज्यका लागि एक डरलाग्दो कुरो तुल्याउनेछु ।

तैंले मलाई त्यागेको छस् , यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो — तँ मबाट फर्केर गएको छस् । त्यसैले म आफ्‍नो हातले तँलाई प्रहार गर्नेछु र तलाई नाश पार्नेछु । तँलाई दया देखाउँदा - देखाउँदा म थकित भइसकेको छु ।

So I will winnow them with a pitchfork at the gates of the land . I will bereave them . I will destroy my people since they will not turn from their ways .
त्यसैल म तिनीहरूलाई देशका मूल ढोकाहरूमा नाङ्लोले निफन्‍नेछु । म तिनीहरूलाई शोकमा पार्नेछु । मेरा मानिसहरू आफ्ना मार्गबाट नफर्कने भएकाले म तिनीहरूलाई नष्‍ट पार्नेछु ।

I will make their widows number more than the sands of the seashore . Against the mothers of young men I will send the destroyer at noonday . I will make shock and horror suddenly fall on them .
म तिनीहरूका विधवाहरूको सङ्ख्या समुद्रतटको बालुवाभन्दा धेरै बनाउनेछु । युवाहरूका आमाहरूको विरुद्धमा म दिउँसै विनाशक पठाउनेछु । शोक र त्रासलाई तिनीहरूमा अकस्मात् आउने म बनाउनेछु ।

The mother who has borne⟡ seven children will waste away . She will gasp . Her sun will set while it is still day . She will be ashamed and embarrassed , for I will give those who remain to the sword in the presence of their enemies — this is Yahweh 's declaration . "
सात जना सन्तान जन्माउने आमा उजाड हुनेछे । त्‍यसले उफ् उफ् गर्नेछे । दिन छँदै त्यसको घाम अस्ताउनेछ । त्यो लज्‍जित र अपमानित हुनेछे , किनकि बाँकी रहेकाहरूलाई म तिनीहरूका शत्रुहरूको उपस्थितिमा तरवारलाई दिनेछु , यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो । ”

Woe to me , my mother ! For you have borne⟡ me , I who am a man of controversy and argument through all the land . I have not lent , nor has anyone lent to me , but they all curse me .
हे मेरी आमा , मलाई धिक्‍कार छ ! किनकि तपाईंले मलाई जन्म दिनुभयो , म जो देशैभरि तर्क र विवादको मानिस हुँ । मैले ऋण दिएको छैनँ , न कसैले मलाई ऋण दिएको छ , तर तिनीहरू सबैले मलाई श्राप दिन्छन् ।

Yahweh said : " Will I not rescue you for good ? I will certainly make your enemies beg for help in the time of calamity and distress .
परमप्रभुले भन्‍नुभयो , " के म भलाइको लागि तँलाई छुटानेछैनँ र ? निश्‍चय नै सङ्कष्‍ट र विपत्तिको समयमा म तेरा शत्रुहरूलाई मदतको निम्ति तँसित बिन्ती गर्न लगाउनेछु ।

Then I will make you serve your enemies in a land that you do not know⟡ , for a fire will ignite , kindled in my wrath against you . "
त्यसपछि तैंले नचिन्‍ने देशमा म तँलाई तेरा शत्रुहरूको सेवा गर्न लगाउनेछु , किनकि तेरो विरुद्धमा मेरो रिसमा आगो दन्कने छ । "

Yahweh , you know ! Remember me and help me . Bring vengeance for me against those who persecute me . You are patient , but do not allow them to take me away ; know that I suffer reproach for your sake .
हे परमप्रभु , तपाईं जान्‍नुहुन्छ । मलाई सम्झनुहोस् , र सहायता गर्नुहोस् । मलाई सतावट गर्नेहरूको विरुद्धमा मेरो पक्षमा बदला लिनुहोस् । तपाईं धैर्यवान् हुनुहुन्छ , तर मलाई टाढा लाने अनुमति तिनीहरूलाई नदिनुहोस् । तपाईंको निम्‍ति मैले निन्दा भोग्छु भनी जान्‍नुहोस् ।

Your words have been found , and I consumed them . Your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart , for I bear your name , Yahweh , God of hosts .
तपाईंका वचनहरू भेट्टाइएका छन् , र मैले ती खाएँ । तपाईंका वचनहरू मेरो लागि रमाहट बने , र मेरो हृदयको आनन्द बने , किनकि हे सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर म तपाईंको नाउँ लिन्‍छु ।

Therefore Yahweh said this , " If you repent , Jeremiah , then I will restore you , and you will stand before me and serve me . For if you separate the foolish things from the precious things , you will be like my mouth . The people will come back to you , but you yourself must not go back to them .
त्यसकारण परमप्रभुले यसो भन्‍नुभयो , " ए यर्मिया , तैंले पश्‍चात्ताप गरिस् भने म तँलाई पुनर्स्थापित गर्नेछु , र तँ मेरो सामु खडा हुनेछस् र मेरो सेवा गर्नेछस् । किनकि तैंले मूर्ख थोकहरूलाई मुल्यवान् थोकहरूबाट अलग गरिस् भने तँ मेरो मुखजस्तै हुनेछस् । मानिसहरू तँकहाँ फर्केर आउने छन् , तर तँ आफै भने तिनीहरूकहाँ जानुहुँदैन ।

I will make you like an impenetrable bronze wall to this people , and they will wage war against you . But they will not defeat you , for I am with you to save and rescue you — this is Yahweh 's declaration —
यी मानिसको निम्ति म तँलाई छेड्नै नसकिने काँसाको पर्खालजस्तै बनाउनेछु , र तिनीहरूले तेरो विरुद्धमा युद्ध छेड्नेछन् । तर तिनीहरूले तँलाई पराजित गर्नेछैनन् , किनकि तँलाई बचाउन र छुटकारा दिन म तँसितै हुन्‍छु , यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।
