मिश्र देशको विषयमाः “ यो यूफ्रेटिस नदीको तीरमा अवस्थित कर्कमीशमा भएका मिश्रदेशका राजा फारो नेकोका सेनाको विषयमा हो । यहूदाका राजा योशियाहका छोरा यहोयाकीमको चौथो वर्षमा यही सेनालाई बेबिलोनका राजा नबूकदनेसरले पराजित गरेका थिए ।

तीव्र गतिमा कुद्‍नेहरू भाग्‍न सक्दैनन् , र सिपाहीहरू उम्कन सक्दैनन् । तिनीहरू उत्तरमा ठक्‍कर खान्छन् , र यूफ्रेटिस नदीको छेउमा ढल्छन् ।

मिश्रदेश नील नदीझैं बढेर आउँछ । त्‍यो नदीको पानीझैं उर्लन्छ र झर्छ । मिश्रदेशले भन्छ , ' म माथि जानेछु र पृथ्वीलाई ढाक्‍नेछु । सहरहरू र तिनका बासिन्दाहरूलाई म नष्‍ट पार्नेछु । '

Go up , horses . Be angry , you chariots . Let the soldiers go out , Cush and Put , men skillful with a shield , and Ludim , men skillful at bending their bows . '
ए घोडाहरू हो , माथि जाओ । ए रथहरू हो , रिसाओ । सिपाहीहरू बाहिर जाऊन् , ढाल बोक्‍ने कूश र पूतका निपुण मानिसहरू अनि लूदका बाण हान्‍न निपुण मानिसहरू हो , अगि बढ । ’

That day will be the day of vengeance for the Lord Yahweh of hosts , and he will avenge himself on his foes . The sword will devour and be satisfied . It will drink its fill of their blood . For there will be a sacrifice to the Yahweh Lord of hosts in the northern land by the Euphrates River .
त्यस दिन सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुको लागि प्रतिशोधको दिन हुनेछ , र उहाँले आफ्ना वैरीहरूलाई आफै बदला लिनुहुनेछ । तरवारले स्वाहा पार्नेछ , र त्यो सन्तुष्‍ट हुनेछ । यसले तिनीहरूको रगत पिउनेछ । किनकि यूफ्रेटिस नदीको किनारमा अवस्थित उत्तर देशमा सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुका लागि बलिदान चढाइनेछ ।

Go up to Gilead and obtain medicine , virgin daughter of Egypt . It is useless that you put much medicine on yourself . There is no cure for you .
ए मिश्रदेशका कन्या - छोरी हो , गिलादमा उक्लेर जाओ , र औषधी प्राप्‍त गर । तैंले धेरै औषधी लगाए तापनि त्यो व्यर्थ हुन्छ । तेरो लागि कुनै उपचार छैन ।

The nations have heard of your disgrace . The earth is filled with your laments , for soldier stumbles against soldier ; both of them fall together . "
जातिहरूले तेरो अपमानको बारेमा सुनेका छन् । पृथ्वी तेरो विलापले भरिएको छ , किनकि सिपाहीहरू एक - अर्कामा ठक्‍कर खान्‍छन् । तिनीहरू दुवै एकसाथ ढल्‍छन् । "

" मिश्रदेशमा सुचना दे , र मिग्दोल , मेम्फिस र तहपनेसमा यो घोषणा गर् । ' आ-आफ्नो ठाउँ लेओ र आफूलाई तयार राख , किनकि तिमीहरूको वरिपरि भएकाहरूलाई तरवारले स्वाहा पार्नेछ । '

Why are your mighty ones face - down on the ground ? They will not stand , because I , Yahweh , have pushed them to the ground .
तेरा शक्तिशाली मानिसहरू किन भुइँमा घोप्टो पर्छन् ? तिनीहरू खडा हुने छैनन् , किनकि म परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूलाई भुइँमा धकेलेको हुँ ।

He increases⟡ the numbers of those who stumble . Each soldier falls against the next one . They are saying , ' Get up . Let us go home . Let us go back to our own people , to our native land . Let us leave this sword that is beating us down . '
उहाँले ठक्‍कर खानेहरूको सङ्ख्या बढाउनुहुन्‍छ । हरेक सिपाही अर्कोमा ढल्‍नेछ । तिनीहरू भन्दैछन् , ' खडा होऊ । हामी घर जाऔं । हाम्रा आफ्नै मानिसहरूकहाँ , हाम्रो आफ्नै मातृभूमिमा जाऔं । हामीलाई प्रहार गर्ने यो तरवारलाई हामी छोडौं । '

As I live⟡ — declares the King , whose name is Yahweh of hosts — someone will come like Mount Tabor and Mount Carmel by the sea .
जस्‍तो म जीवित छु , सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु महाराजा घोषणा गर्नुहुन्‍छ — कोही एक जना तबोर पर्वतझैं र समुद्र किनारको कर्मेल पर्वतझैं आउनेछ ।

ए मिश्रदेशमा बस्‍नेहरू हो , निर्वासनमा लानलाई आफ्ना निम्‍ति पोकापन्‍तरा बाँध । किनकि मेम्फिस उजाड हुनेछ । यो भग्‍नावशेष हुनेछ , र त्यहाँ कोही पनि बस्‍नेछैन ।

सर्पले झैं मिश्रदेशले आवाज निकाल्‍नेछ र घिस्रेर भाग्‍नेछ , किनकि त्यसका शत्रुहरू त्यसको विरुद्धमा अगि बढ्दैछन् । दाउरा काट्नेहरूले बन्‍चरो लिएर हिंडेझैं तिनीहरू त्यसतर्फ जाँदैछन् ।

Yahweh of hosts , the God of Israel , says , " See , I am about to punish Amon of Thebes , Pharaoh , Egypt and her gods , her kings the Pharaohs , and those who trust in them .
सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ , " हेर , थेबेसको अमोन , फारो , मिश्रदेश र त्यसका देवताहरू , त्यसका राजा फारोहरू र तिनीहरूमाथि भरोसा गर्नेहरूलाई मैले दण्ड दिनै लागेको छु ।

I am giving them into the hand of the ones seeking their lives , and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and his servants . Then after this⟡ Egypt will be inhabited as in previous days — this is Yahweh 's declaration .
मैले तिनीहरूका ज्यान लिन खोज्नेहरू र बेबिलोनका राजा नबूकदनेसर र उसका सेवकहरूका हातमा तिनीहरूलाई दिन लागेको छु । त्यसपछि मिश्रदेश पहिलेझैं आबादी हुनेछ , ’ यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

But you , my servant Jacob , do not fear . Do not be dismayed , Israel , for see , I am about to bring you back from far away , and your offspring from the land of their captivity . Then Jacob will return , find⟡ peace , and be secure , and there will be no one to terrify him .
तर ए मेरो दास याकूब , तँ नडरा । ए इस्राएल , तँ हताश नहो , किनकि हेर् , मैले तँलाई धेरै टाढाबाट र तेरा सन्तानलाई तिनीहरूको निर्वासनको देशबाट फर्काएर ल्याउनै लागेको छु । तब याकूब फर्कनेछ , शान्ति पाउनेछ र सुरक्षित हुनेछ , र उसलाई आतङ्कित पार्ने कोही हुनेछैन ।

You , my servant Jacob , do not fear — this is Yahweh 's declaration — for I am with you , so I will bring complete destruction against all the nations where I scattered you . But I will not destroy you completely . Yet I will discipline you justly and will certainly not leave you unpunished . "
ए मेरो दास याकूब , तँ नडरा , यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो — किनभने म तँसित छु , यसैले मैले तँलाई जहाँजहाँ छरपष्‍ट पारें त्‍यहाँका सबै जातिहरूको विरुद्धमा म पूर्ण विनाश ल्याउनेछु । तर म तँलाई भने पूर्ण रूपमा नष्‍ट गर्नेछैनँ । तापनि म तँलाई न्यायपूर्वक अनुशासन गर्नेछु , र म तँलाई निश्‍चय पनि दण्डविना छाड्नेछैनँ । "
