The word came to Jeremiah from Yahweh when King Zedekiah sent Pashhur son of Malkijah⟡ and Zephaniah son of Maaseiah the priest to him , and they said ,
Wannan ita ce maganar da ta zo wa Irmiya daga Yahweh lokacin da sarki Zadakiya⟡ ya aiki⟡ Fashhur⟡ ɗan Malkiya da Zafaniya⟡ ɗan Ma'aseya⟡ firist gare shi . Suka ce da shi ,

Then he will kill them with the edge of the sword . He will not pity them , spare them , or have compassion . '
Bayan wannan - wannan shi ne furcin Yahweh - Zadakiya⟡ sarkin Yahuda , da bayinsa da mutanen , da duk wanda ya rage a cikin wannan birni bayan annoba , da takobi da kuma yunwa , zan bashe su dukka a hannun Nebukadnezza sakin⟡ Babila , da kuma hannun abokan gãbarsu , da hannun waɗanda suke neman rayukansu . Daga nan shi kuma zai kashe su da kaifin takobi . Ba zai ji tausayinsu ba , ko ya rage⟡ su , ko kuma ya yi juyayinsu⟡ ba . '

Anyone staying⟡ in this city will die by the sword , famine , and plague ; but anyone going out and falling on his knees before the Chaldeans who have closed in against you will live . He will escape with his life .
Shi wanda ya zauna⟡ a wannan birnin zai mutu da takobi , da yunwa da kuma annoba ; amma shi wanda ya fita zai ba da kansa ga Kaldiyawa waɗanda suka⟡ kewaye ku gãba da ku zai rayu . Zai tserar da ransa .
